Protective enclosure for the ice crusher mechanism in your refrigerator's dispenser. Replace if cracked, broken, or damaged from ice jams or wear.
I ordered a replacement auger from AppliancePartsPros.com. Upon receipt of the new auger, I watched the repair video and took the ice crusher apart. I found several other parts that needed to be replaced as well. Once All the parts were received, I again watched the video. The video was not specific enough to show how to reassemble the ice crusher blades and the two types of washers. I found another video on YouTube that walked me through specific details of assembly and everything went... Read more

Replaces a cracked, broken, or worn ice dispenser lever on your refrigerator. This paddle activates the dispensing mechanism for water and ice.
I bought two parts. The dispenser housing shield and the funnel ice dispenser. I watched the short video on how to put it back together and I was done in just a matter of minutes. The video was such a big help. I forgot how the spring went on and was able to watch the video and put it back together in just a matter of minutes. I know I must have saved a couple of hundred dollars on a service call. Read more

Seals the front edge of your refrigerator's crisper or pantry drawer pan cover to prevent cold air loss. Replace if worn, cracked, or not sealing properly.
First I ordered a new ice door seal, spring, and crank, figuring the condensation in freezer and door was caused by ice door not sealing. Turns out the solenoid for the ice door was completely rusted and was the primary cause, if it had been replaced early, it would have saved the dispenser board. What then happened was the moisture in the freezer door damaged the control board rendering dispenser controls inoperative as well as the heater around the dispenser. Now the freezer door is dripping... Read more
Rubber grommet that mounts the evaporator or condenser fan motor to its bracket. Replace when worn, cracked, or missing to reduce vibration and noise.
Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
Fix a light that won't turn on or flickers in your refrigerator. This E12 socket replacement is straightforward with our step-by-step video guide.
When diagnosing the problem, I discovered that the ice door was not properly sealing and that the solenoid had appeared to rust/corrode forcing the door open. I replaced most of the ice dispenser internals (solenoid, crank, door, and spring) following the video. The door will now open when dispensing ice (which it does!), and will oddly stay open for a few seconds once I am finished, but does seal properly and the chute/container no longer frosts over. Plastic water line that runs from the water valve to the icemaker fill tube. Replace if cracked, brittle, broken, or leaking at connection points.
Thanks to the AppliancePartsPro, I ordered it online and received it quickly. I even used the step by step directions on how to replace the tube from the AppliancePartsPro website. Just be very careful and review the instructions first. Couple of important things: 1. Take a picture of the existing wiring and tubes before you take them apart. 2. *if* you remove the wires ( red and white plugs) from the valve, make sure you plug them back in correctly. 3. Do not pull or push the tubes hard. Use... Read more

Internal water reservoir with attached tubing that stores and delivers chilled water to the dispenser. Replace if cracked, leaking, or damaged.
Installing the tank went quickly. Removed the water filter from the upper compartment to stop water flow to the tank. Had to remove the two lower drawers (they tilt out of their sliding frames). There is a glass shelf that should be pulled out - it slides out via two notches in the front frame. The water tank is behind a white metal cover held by 4 screws. Keep track of all of the parts including the lip seals from the shelf. I used two Watts 5/15x5/16 couplers from Lowes for the connections.... Read more
