Replaced transmission and support assembly. Hub nut corrode on support, spanner wrench would not loosen. Had to use 1 11/16 deep socket and impact wrench to remove, basket would not com off support even after cleaning out and soaking with penetrant and using automotive air hammer to push out. I had to cut support plate in half with die grinder, cut bearing from shaft and punch out agitator shaft then use die grinder with carbide burr to cut basket shaft in two before basket would come off... I just placed the slide in the slots and slid it to the locked position. I had to bend the top left slide lock on the door to get it to lock properly. Read more

Tested the old t-stat with ohm meter. When shaken, the contacts would open. Replaced it with new t-stat and it works fine now. Thanks! Read more

This is a stacked unit so it comes apart a little different. you DO NOT have to remove the dryer unit to remove the tub assembly.the top front cabinet brace is held on with 6 screws.remove this along with the suspension rods the tub assembly comes straight out the front of the machine. Do yourself a favor and take the whole assembly out of the machine before you disassemble the inner tub. I removed the drain pump before i took the tub out as a precaution. First of you need to remove front panel of the washer, using a putty knife push the tabs between the top of the machine and the front panel. Once front panel is exposed drain hose is connected to pump which is in the front of the machine,very easy to access with the front off. Remove old hose with pliers and discard ,run new hose thru outlet on the back of the machine and secure new hose to drain and secure hose to the machine, reinstall front panel of washer and that's it Read more

First I check the breaker for the dryer then I check the power cord and the ohms to the power cord when all this things were in working order I then check the ohms to the fuse to the control panel. The fuse had no ohms so I got a pair on needle nose pliers pulled out the fuse and replace it worked just find after that Read more
