Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Received the element very quickly but it had been damaged in shipping. Called AppliancePartsPros to report this and they quickly shipped another element - very easy process. To install the element, I turned off the power to the range, put on rubber gloves (just in case) and removed the two sheet metal crews at the rear of the oven -... Read more

Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair. Read more

After researching on the internet I found I needed a new oven temperature sensor, and this site had the fastest delivery and a great price! I also like the videos telling you how to do the repair. My husband is the handyman, but has too many projects on his plate and the repairs looked simple. I did the temperature sensor all by myself when he wasn't even home, and the light socket replacement I only had trouble taking the old part out, so my husband pulled it out for me, but I did all the... This top burner igniter is compatible with the following appliance brands: Whirlpool, Amana, Jenn Air, KitchenAid, Ikea, and Maytag.

I disassembled the top of the range and looked at the problem burner. It looked like there was a spark at all three other burners but not the problem burner. There was a visible spark at the connector between the wiring harness and the ceramic igniter but that spark wasn't making it up to the top of the igniter where it can light the burner. I ordered a new igniter for $19 and it was on my doorstep the next day. I replaced the part and now my wife thinks I am a genius. Don't tell her that... Read more

I had to remove the oven door, which I learned is made to come off without tools. Then took out the bottom by removing two screws and lifting. Removed the screws attaching the igniter, pulled wires thru back until I could get the connector and disconnect. When the new igniter arrived, I had to change the connector. I cut the one off the old one, and spliced to the new one using solder and shrink tubing. Just reverse the procedure to install. I replaced the screws with new ones. Read more
