A shout out to A.P.P.: Quality parts always come quickly and are what I ordered. No, they are not always the cheapest nor do they have all parts for everything (who does?) but their website is the easiest to use and cost differences are usually slight. I have found A.P.P. trustworthy and reliable for the ten or so purchases I've made. This repair process requires that the DW be completely free from cabinet sidewalls. For me that meant pulling the DW from its installed undercounter space. I... Read more

Without knowing exactly what broke I ordered 2 springs and 2 door spring links. It is a simple procedure, just remember how the springs/links are attached. make a simple drawing or take a picture should you need it. I watched two "how to" video's which made it look harder to do than it really is. Turn the circuit breaker off and turn the... Read more

Color: Black. Screw for lower toe panel. For Biscuit screw use 3400865, for white screw use WP3400836.
I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts. Took about 90 minutes but the hardest part was removing other items from the rusting frame without... Read more
Shaft seal included.
DIY, changed motor and sump. Put a dab of valve lubricant on seal. Wet outer seal of sump to get it to seat in bottom of tub. Cleaned electrical connectors corroded by leak. Coated connectors with dielectric grease. Had to buy additional clamp. Two clamps came in the sump package but both fit the smaller hose only. Neither fit the large hose. I wish the correct clamps were included. Home improvement store clamp is a little too wide to fit between ridges in large hose. Read more

This genuine replacement part is a control board for Whirlpool dishwashers. The control board is the main circuit board that controls the dishwasher's main functions. If the dishwasher is no longer turning on, or is not draining properly, it might be time for a new control board. Luckily, replacing a control board is an easy process.First, remove the outer door panel of the dishwasher by unthreading the mounting screws. Lift the control panel up and disconnect the wire touchpad harness from the control board. Then use a flathead screwdriver to release the locking tab and slide the control board housing to the left to detach. Remove the wire covers. Once removed, take note of the orientation of the wire connectors and disconnect them from the old board. Install the new control board by reconnecting the wire connectors to the appropriate terminals. Align the wire covers and pop them into place. Insert the control board housing tabs into the slots of the mounting bracket and slide the housing to the right to secure. Reinstall the control panel by attaching the control pad wire harness to the new board. Align the panel and rethread the mounting screws to secure. This replacement control board is compatible with Whirlpool brands include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, Sears, and Kenmore brand dishwashers.

Maytag Dishwasher (about 5 years old). Some of the buttons had stopped functioning. Then the Start button began choosing whether or not to work. Eventually it would not start at all. Upon removing the control panel, the first thing I noticed was that the brackets that hold the two lower screws were broken. (So this was the reason that the door was so hard to open from the time it was new.) I trouble shot the thermal fuse, the door-latch switches, and inspected the control board trying to find...
