To eliminate ordering parts that are working, I went to hardware store to get a multimeter to test and confirmed the continuity of the themal fuse and the door switches are working. Saw another reviewer post a similar problem and I went with the solution by replacing the panel-ctl. Ordered the part, replaced it after receiving the delivery package, turned the breaker back on, ran a test cycle, et voila, it works as new. Sidenote, to reset the dishwasher, I pushed " hi-temp dry, "energy... Read more
Dishes not cleaning or soap not dissolving? This sump and motor assembly restores water circulation to spray arms. Moderate DIY repair fixes leaks too.
Cycle would complete but dishes weren't clean (not even really wet) and soap wasn't dissolving. Could hear fill at start but maybe not spraying or filling again in cycle. Thought it was the control board, but actually this was not the error. Replaced the control board and same problem arose, only new control board version actually stopped cycle with message that dishwasher couldn't fill. Looking underneath the pump had somehow become dislodged from the bottom of dishwasher and was laying on... Read more
Fix poor upper rack cleaning or leaks at the back of the tub by replacing this feed tube assembly. Routes water from pump to upper spray arm. Easy DIY repair.
After a WIDE and exhaustive search for the little part, I resorted to purchase the entire piece. It was easy to snap the old one out and snap the new one in. Too bad the little piece isn’t available, would be a lot cheaper and no more difficult to replace. Read more
Broken tine clip or wobbly lower rack? This fold-down tine pivot restores stable dish loading. Easy 2-minute DIY fix—no tools needed for most models.
Ordered 2 new pivot-tine clamps and 2 rows of tines which hold the last to rungs on the lower dishwasher shelf. It was an easy repair..... It took more time to get the packing bubble wrap off the tines than it did to fix the dishwasher.! Read more

Dishwasher won't start, stops mid-cycle, or shows error codes? The control board manages all cycles and functions. Moderate DIY repair in 30-60 minutes.
A bit of searching on the internet narrowed the problem down to either the heating element or the control board. As I am not much of a diagnostician I decided to replace both. Along this same line, I would never have attempted these repairs if it hadn't been for the clear, easy to understand repair videos provided for each part. Further, my decision to do my own repairs was made easier because the prices of the parts was so reasonable. I took my time, reviewed the videos and replaced the... Read more

This trash compactor is in our vacation home. We never use it and now we are selling the house. When I looked to replace it I was amazed at how expensive a new compactor would cost. Fix dishwasher leaks or rattling during drain cycle with this drain pump housing. Snaps into place—most DIYers complete this repair in minutes.
I watched the appliancepartspros.com video to make sure I had identified the right part before I ordered it. After receiving the part, it was easy — the part itself twisted off without tools (pliers were helpful to remove and reattach the drain hose), and I was able to complete the repair without pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter. 4 Torx screws on the panel at top seen when door open. This is an important repair, though it would have been easier to leave as it was.
