Replacement tine row for dishwasher upper or lower rack. Holds dishes upright and properly spaced. Replace if tines are rusted, broken, or rotted away.
Just replaced the things. Had to reuse old tine rows, rollers, the spray arm, etc., i.e. I removed 'em from the old racks and put on the new ones, but that was piece of cake. Also, I cleaned the food grinder and the discharge valve compartment (thank you very ???? ???? much, Internet), so spray arms around the top rack get enough water pressure now. I didn't have to buy any parts for the latter part of this little repair project, though. Read more

My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? After doing the obvious things of checking the simp for garbage, and checking that the discharge hose wasn't blocked, I removed my discharge pump ( not too hard to do) and tested. My pump which did run and turn the impeller. However, the pump evidently had weakened with time and weakened and could no longer pump the waste water up hill to the "T" connection under the sink. Dishwasher not filling with water or leaking when off? The water inlet valve controls flow during wash cycles. DIY repair typically under 30 minutes.
First I cleared the food chopper area. There were things there, bits of plastic for instance, but it wasn't the reason for the dishes not getting sprayed off. The dishwasher continued to only partially fill and not circulate the water. I started the dishwasher, let the pump start and then opened the door and filled up the dishwasher manually. It sprayed water as it should, cleaning the top rack quite well. I figured the issue was not the float switch, since some water was coming in. So I... Read more

I first verified the house panel circuit breaker was not tripped. It wasn't so I removed the bottom kick plate of the unit, using a circuit cricket I verified the power feed to the unit was live. The bottom kick plate had a trouble shooting guide in a plastic sleeve which I opened and reviewed. Based on information in there it appeared the TOC was likely the issue. (We recently lost power and used a stand by generator. Previously when we did the the dishwasher had a blinking LED on the... Read more
Replace your cracked, rusted, or broken dishwasher tine row. This adjustable row installs in the upper or lower rack for flexible dish loading.

I was repairing my daughter's WDT730pahz0 Whirlpool dishwasher. The bottom dish rack set of wheels was very easy to install. The replacements for the upper set of wheels is different than the originals. In my opinion, the replacements are far superior to the original parts. The problem, as many have pointed out, is that there are no instructions on how to install the new parts. I worked for 15 minutes, attempting to put the pieces together and then install them on the dishrack. That was a... Read more

Door won't latch or stay closed? This dishwasher door latch assembly fixes latching failures and prevents mid-cycle stops. Moderate DIY repair with video.
I ordered the Maytag Latch-Door mechanism and was able to get a service manual from appliancepartspros.com. I followed instructions, disconnected power FIRST, and removed the inner door panel screws and the inner and outer doors came apart. I was then able to disconnect the power leads to the electronic latch door mechanism and remove the whole assembly. The assembly was loosely attached to the inside of the outer door by plastic posts and squeeze levers. I compared the OEM part with the... Read more
Fix leaks around the dishwasher motor or poor spray pressure with this impeller and seal kit. DIY-friendly repair takes about 2 hours with basic tools.
My dishwasher quit cleaning dishes and lost all pressure. The food screen would keep clogging up and I would have to take it out and clean it by hand. After putting a new impeller in, the "gears" on the impeller connected with the screen blades, the old impeller the "gears" were stripped off. And the new impeller comes with new seals, after taking old one out I noticed it wasn't long before my old seals would have started leaking. Very simple repair if you watch the great video that...
