Controls steam release during wash and dry cycles. Replace if water leaks from door vent or excess steam escapes. Includes built-in wax motor. Verify fit.
Replaced Air Vent (+gasket). (Based on some googled descriptions of how.) Took out several screws in the vicinity of the vent on upper left of door. These are specialized torx screw heads. Released inner panel enough for air vent to slide out. It is held to the panel by the louvered round cover. Twist the cover to the left to remove it and the Air Vent comes loose. I tested the resistance of the old Air Vent and found it to be ~18 ohms. I had found on one site that it should be between 6 and... Read more
Black acrylic spray paint for appliance exteriors. Restores finish on scratched, chipped, or faded surfaces. 12 oz aerosol can for panels and trim.
I purchased a can of black appliance spray paint, removed the panels on the dishwasher, sprayed them, and a few hours later put them back. They're beautiful and it looks like I have a brand new dishwasher! It now matches everything and looks great with the new granite counter tops I just installed. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT IDEA!!! I'm a 76 year old female and my friends think I'm a genius! Read more
Adjustable leveling leg threads into dishwasher base to set height and stabilize cabinet. Replace worn, missing, or stripped legs to stop rocking.
Replace your dishwasher's upper dishrack if it's cracked, rusted, or has damaged coating. This top shelf holds plates and bowls securely during wash cycles.
New upper dish rack. At 15 years old, the dishwasher is going strong but inevitable wear and tear ruined the dish rack. The video on the website is not specific to my model but I'm a little handy and was able to figure it out. If I had to do it again, I'd rate the difficulty as a 1, much of the time spent was figuring out how to push all the little plastic lock tabs and switching the rollers and upper water jet assembly from one rack to the other. Seals the front edge of your dishwasher door to contain water and steam. Replace when you notice leaks or drips at the door opening. Confirm fit.
We had a repair man come and inspect the unit (Independent). He said he would get the part and get back with us. Almost 8 weeks past, with many calls to the service for an update. So I ordered the part he said was bad, the control board. He did not check the fuse. I ordered the fuse, the new board worked. I removed the new and replaced the old control board. Everything is fine. Thus, I am returning the board. The suggestion to replace the fuse came from your on line tech. He saved me... Read more
Top rack spray arm that rotates to distribute water across upper dishes. Replace if cracked, broken, or not spinning freely to restore water coverage.
I discovered that the water inlet manifold was cracked. Installed the new part which greatly improved the issue but was not completely resolved. Upon further inspection it looked like the arm bearing had seen better days so, since the machine is ten years old I opted to replace the rest of the assembly. Parts came in a timely manner and the repair was easy - top rack dishes are now spotless! By the way I am a fifty something female with no prior dishwasher repair experience -... Read more

I ordered this seal however, it was the door seal leaking. I returned this one and the install on the other one went great. Read more
Replace your dishwasher's air vent assembly to stop leaks around the door and restore proper drying. Includes thermal component. Verify fit by model number.
First tried replacing the seal around the door as that was the simple and most logical fix. Still leaked. Removed the front and upper panel to inspect. Found calcium deposit running down from under the Air Vent Assembly and wet behind the black stick-on insulation. Easy to trace the leak to the bottom of the door. => Ordered new Air Vent Assembly, gasket and Vent Deflector. Parts arrived. Took 5 minutes to remove upper panel. Removed the two wires from the Air Vent Assembly. Inserted a... Read more
Replacement track assembly for dishwasher upper rack. Mounts to dishwasher tub side wall. Includes left and right tracks with bearings and stops.
Ordered replacement tracks. Shipment arrived within 2-3 days. No directions and video available only spoke of replacement of track stop, so of no assistance. No directions with tracks, just arrows on the parts. Already assembled with new plastics braces similar to what was inside washer wall holding permanent track on either side. Unsure at first whether I had to remove old plastic braces. No screw heads visible. Maneuvered existing tracks a bit and they came off fairly easily. Likewise... Read more
