Replaced control board with OEM part from ApplianceParts Pro - fit exactly and remedied the problems. Watched a video on how to replace the switch. Took ten minutes total time. Hardest part was removing the wiring from the broken switch. Fit perfectly, and very happy . Read more

I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. Spun each of the three wash arms by hand. All could be made to touch/scrape but the top one was super wabbly. Ordered both the arm and clip. Repair took less than a minute. Used a screwdriver to pry loose one side of the old clip to remove. Aligned the new parts and easily snapped into place. Read more

I ordered a new rubber door seal for around door, new bottom door seal and spinner impeller and nut to hold on bottom arm as it looked weak. Everything worked great except bottom door seal which looks slightly different and would NOT stay on. I ended up putting back on the old one. Door doesnt leak but not sure it would even be worth it sending part back as I already tossed bag out. Other parts worked great and DW cleaning better. Read more

Replaced rack adjuster assembly on both sides. Easy repair, and the parts arrived within 2 days. Replacement parts appear to be better designed to prevent the roller shafts from failing. Hint: The rollers on the top rack seem to be the same. I removed and saved the rollers and shafts from the old parts in the event I have to replace those on the top rack someday. Read more

Replaced the control board after removing the inner door liner, plastice board cover and board itself, by removing screws, working various plastic clips/tabs and unclipping wire harnesses from board. most of time was spent cleaning the black soot from the door, which had a terrible burnt electrical/plastic fire smell. Cleaned mold/scale off of as much of the door as I could while in there as well. Removing parts without breaking plastic tabs to hold the new parts was trickiest part. Read more

Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPro's, watched the video, new latch works perfect. I've repaired several appliances in my house by diagnosing simple problems going to AppliancePartsPro's diagram's, ordering the part and installing myself. Never had any problems. The bearing in the back of the dryer was tricky but worked great. Keep track of all parts when you disassemble and assemble in reverse order. Taking photos as you disassemble helps for referencing if you get stumped. Read more
