This broil burner spark electrode generates the ignition spark at the oven's broil burner so the flame lights reliably when you select Broil. Replacing a worn or cracked electrode restores consistent broil ignition and reduces repeated clicking.
- Provides a high-voltage spark at the broil burner to ignite gas
- Works with the range's spark/ignition module to light the broiler
- Common symptoms: broiler won't light, intermittent or delayed ignition, continuous clicking with no flame, cracked ceramic insulator
- Spark-style component (not a glow-bar igniter)
What's included: 1 broil burner spark electrode. Install notes:
- Disconnect electrical power and shut off gas; allow the oven to cool completely.
- Remove oven racks and any flame spreader/guard to access the broil burner area.
- Note electrode position and gap to the burner port; transfer mounting hardware and avoid stressing the ceramic insulator.
- Route and reconnect the ignition wire/harness away from heat and sharp edges; restore gas and power and test ignition.

Needed new burner heads & orifices Kyle W. • Lansing , MI • February 19, 2017
In an attempt to clean the range from the grease-gunk build-up, I had to remove the burner heads. Unfortunately, the 2 most used burner heads had immovable screws that locked them into the orifices underneath. After numerous hours in attempts to salvage the old burner heads and orifices attempting to remove the immovable screws, I gave up. Checked Maytag's website for parts and found nothing. Turned to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the correct parts for reasonable price in a matter of...

Hinges were weak Don M. • Colchester , VT • December 31, 2016
Bought and installed new hinges. Repair took about an hour but I also cleaned all the glass inside and out on both oven doors. I had ordered extra screws as I read the old ones that hold the hinges were hard to get in as they were self taping but the screw labeled 5 next to the hinge were not the right ones. All old screws worked fine. You just need to put a little power to them to get them started. Easy repair.

Pies had run down onto my oven bottom and ruined the porcelain finish Linda B. • Brookville , PA • June 21, 2014
I ordered the new oven bottom from Appliance Parts Pros and within three days I had a brand new oven bottom. Took the old one out, the new one fit superbly. The next time I will definitely put foil or an oven liner on the bottom rack to catch the drips from the pies as the Aqua-lift cleaning system on the Whirlpool oven did not do the job.

The Anti Tip Bracket is an OEM component specifically designed for Whirlpool ranges. This bracket plays a crucial safety role in preventing the range from accidentally tipping over if excessive weight is applied to the open oven door.
The anti-tip bracket secures tightly to the floor or wall behind the range, linking it securely in place. It allows the oven door to function while ensuring the entire appliance remains stable even under heavy use.
Causes of a bad bracket can include damage, deterioration of mounting hardware over time, or failure to install properly according to manufacturer instructions.
Symptoms of a faulty anti-tip bracket include:
- The range appears unsecured and able to wobble or rock backward
- Looseness between the bracket and mounting surface
- Cracks or breaks in the anti-tip bracket material
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
