This guide yoke is a replacement guide that supports and guides a moving assembly so the appliance part moves smoothly and stays aligned. Replacing a worn guide yoke restores reliable, quiet operation and reduces binding or misalignment. What it does:
- Guides and stabilizes a sliding or pivoting component to maintain proper alignment
- Helps prevent rubbing, binding, or uneven movement of the associated assembly
- Reduces noise caused by worn or damaged guide surfaces
- Restores smooth operation when the original guide is cracked, bent, or excessively worn
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas where applicable) before servicing to prevent shock or injury
- Access the mounting location by removing the relevant panel or assembly
- Install new guide in the same orientation; secure fasteners snugly but do not overtighten
- Test the moving assembly for smooth operation before reassembling panels

I'm not willing to pay $40 every six months as recommended to filter perfectly good water Cindy B. • Wichita , KS • August 16, 2014
After purchasing a used Maytag refrigerator, I was very glad to discover the availability of a Water Filter Bypass Plug, in order to avoid purchasing water filters. An order from Appliance Parts Pros resulted in delivery of the plug the very next day, even without expedited shipping! It was installed in seconds rather than minutes.
Ironically when I read the owner's manual, I learn that "your refrigerator was delivered from the factory with a filter bypass in place. The filter cartridge...

Freezer works fridge side won't get below 45f maytag model #msd2754grw Raymond C. • Springtown , TX • February 03, 2017
I learned an $84 lesson, I discovered an adjustment screw on the auto damper control that has never been talked about anywhere on Google. The new part only brought the temp down to 40F. So I adjusted the screw counter clockwise 2 revolutions and checked the temp again after about 6 hours. The temp had dropped 4 degrees, so I gave it another 2 revolutions and now it's down to 30.
The temp setting levers are on 5. I'm not certain what the temps should be at the settings 1-9 but I'm satisfied...

Frig not cooling could hear repetitive clicking and sizzling sound Eric W. • West Concord , MN • March 17, 2017
Ordered replacement kit from AppliancePartsPros. New part that was recommended did not look like the original (frig is a Maytag and new part comes in a Whirlpool bag). Chat support assured me it will work. Got it, and put it in per instruction, which was against my better judgement, as the top two wire colors were reversed on the instruction sheet, from what I had taken off. Sure enough, compressor wouldn't start and would stall and kick out the new overload. Reversed top two wires back...
