Performed a partial rebuild of all expendables..clutch/brake/ seals/agitator cogs/suspension springs..chose to replace the basket drive rather than rebuild...cost diff was minimal.did rebuild the drive tube..seals/bearings..have spare control card..so exposure is to motor or gearbox failure..both of which are easy pulls..Whether we would rebuild or replace gearbox upon some future failure is undecided. The bearing is molded into the outer tub. Th process is not complicated but does take about two hours. The most difficult part of the process was filing information on opening the top of the washer.
