This door stop mounts on the refrigerator hinge to limit the door's swing and prevent overextension that can damage cabinets, hinges, or wiring. Replacing a worn stop restores smooth, controlled door opening and proper clearance.
- Controls the door's opening range by acting as a hinge stop
- Helps prevent the door from striking walls or adjacent cabinets
- Replaces cracked, missing, or deformed stops that allow overextension
- Common symptoms: door swings too wide, scraping/clicking at the hinge, or a visibly broken stop
What's included: One door stop. Install notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator and, if applicable, shut off the water supply
- Remove the hinge cover; support the door to relieve weight on the hinge
- Lift the door off the hinge or remove the hinge pin as required; note the stop's orientation
- Install the new stop, reassemble, and verify door alignment and gasket seal

Door stop bracket sheared after too much abuse Arthur B. • Gaithersburg , MD • December 02, 2014
There's what needed to be done and there was what was done. Either way it starts with the door stop bracket shearing off and needing to be replaced.
Actual work wise.
1) Remove the shelves
2) Remove the 5/16th hex heads at the top
3) Lift the door up and lay it down
4) torx to get the bracket off and the new one on
5) Reverse process
Time it should have taken: 30 minutes
What actually happened: Watched the video for the wrong model. Curse and be stubborn while trying to figure out how to get...

This ice dispenser auger drive mounts on the dispenser motor shaft and engages the ice bucket auger. Replacing a worn or stripped drive restores the connection so your refrigerator can move ice smoothly to the chute.
- Couples the dispenser motor to the ice-bin auger to rotate and move ice toward the chute
- On models with crushers, also drives the crushing mechanism
- Worn or rounded splines can cause little or no ice dispensing even though the motor runs
- May produce clicking/grinding noises from the door during dispense
- Visible cracking or play at the coupling indicates replacement is needed
What's included: 1 auger drive Installation notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator and shut off water before servicing
- Remove the ice bin to access the dispenser motor shaft in the freezer door
- Note the orientation; remove the old drive and seat the new drive fully on the shaft, transferring any original hardware if present
- Reinstall the ice bin, restore power, and test ice dispense

Driver auger was spinning freely on motor shaft (threads were stripped) John K. • Tucson , AZ • November 28, 2016
The auger in ice bucket was frozen and locked in place (some how liquid water must have spilled inside and froze the shaft and bushing). When the motor was activated to deliver ice, the jam caused the motor shaft to strip the threads. With the threads stripped, there is no way (that I could find) to get the drive auger off of the shaft (btw, it is left-hand threaded). Apparently the Drive Auger is made of stainless steel - a harder metal then the motor shaft.
To repair it, I removed the...

The plastic tube from the valve to the ice maker was broken Alan K. • Leesburg , VA • May 16, 2015
Thanks to the AppliancePartsPro, I ordered it online and received it quickly. I even used the step by step directions on how to replace the tube from the AppliancePartsPro website.
Just be very careful and review the instructions first. Couple of important things:
1. Take a picture of the existing wiring and tubes before you take them apart.
2. *if* you remove the wires ( red and white plugs) from the valve, make sure you plug them back in correctly.
3. Do not pull or push the tubes hard. Use...

The recess door retainer secures the dispenser's ice chute flapper in the refrigerator door. Replacing a cracked or missing retainer restores proper flapper pivot and sealing to help reduce frost buildup and air leaks around the dispenser.
- Holds the recess/ice door on its pivot within the dispenser assembly
- Helps the flapper close fully to seal the ice chute
- Restores smooth open/close action of the dispenser door
- Common symptoms: loose or fallen flapper, poor chute seal, frost or condensation in the dispenser area, and ice clumping near the chute
What's included: 1 recess door retainer Install notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator before servicing the dispenser
- Carefully remove the dispenser bezel/control panel to access the ice chute door assembly
- Note spring orientation and retainer position; transfer components to the new retainer
- Verify flapper movement and seal before reassembly and restoring power

Yes ice was not coming out of the dispenser Jason S. • Goose Creek , SC • December 02, 2014
I replaced the solenoid, door, spring and bucket. The bucket cracked from ice freezing inside it. Ice froze inside the bucket because the solenoid stopped pulling the door closed which allowed hot humid air into the freezer. While I was in there I replaced the dispenser door, spring and crank because they are cheap and the old ones were moldy. The mold is most likely from the door not closing and causing condensation on the parts as well.

GLIDE BUCKET RH

Right hand bucket glide and matching support piece on ice bucket cover were broken Dale W. • Yorktown , VA • April 03, 2016
Ordered right hand bucket glide and complete ice bucket assembly (cost more than just the cover, but did so in case other ice bucket assembly parts were worn out). Replacing bucket glide was done relatively easily by first turning off the icemaker, removing the old ice bucket assembly from the glides, removing all screws on the right hand glide, and loosening the screws on the left hand glide. This allowed the drive motor assembly (which fits in slots at the back of each glide) to move enough...
