Fix loud rattling or thumping noises in your dryer with a new blower wheel. Common repair when the fan hub breaks or spins freely on the motor shaft.
Blower wheel and clamp replacement. Initially, we replaced both the belt and drum roller wheels but that did not stop the noise. By reviewing videos on YouTube and AppliancePartsPros, we suspected that the blower wheel could be problematic, even though with front panel of dryer off, we did not see any visual clues to support that theory. Purchased the replacement clamp as well, just for good measure (and it was inexpensive). Note: we did call AppliancePartsPros with our model AND serial numbers... Read more
Seals the gap between dryer door and frame to prevent heat loss and improve efficiency. Replace when worn, cracked, or loose. Confirm fit with your model.
Found the right part at AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered the part, watched the tutorial. Took less than 5 minutes to install new door seal, and now our laundry area is no longer hot and humid. Before we changed the seal, warm air was leaking around the door and made the laundry room and the kitchen next to it unpleasant. Thanks for the great door seal and the handy tutorial! Read more
Replace your cracked or broken dryer timer knob and dial assembly. This 2-piece set restores clear cycle markings and reliable control selection.
The timer knob simply pulls off the shaft with a solid, steady pull. Cleaned the timer cavity of lint/dust buildup. Aligned the keying flat of the shaft and knob and pushed the new knob on with careful, steady pressure until it was obviously seated. No tools required other than a vacuum. The door switch would sometimes not shut the dryer off when the door was opened. New switch came with new fast-on connectors. Replacement required opening the top cover of the dryer and hinging it up. This... Read more
Replace worn dryer drum front glides when hearing scraping noise or metal-on-metal contact. Kit includes glide and felt pad for smooth operation.
I took the dryer apart.....first had to clean out all the lint here and there. Took the drum out, inspected the belt and back support wheels. They seemed to be fine. In the front the drum turns on two supports that have a Teflon glide. Those two glides had been worn off with their pad so metal was rubbing against metal. Went online to appliancepartspros.com and looked up on the schematic what parts I needed. I also had called around locally and the same parts cost twice as much....so I... Read more

Guides the center door mullion spring pivot for smooth flap operation. Replace if worn or damaged to maintain proper door seal. Verify fit with model.
Secures cooktop panels, burner components, and trim pieces. Replace missing, stripped, or damaged screws to eliminate rattles and keep parts aligned.
After being told by a service repairman that it would cost me close to $200 to repair, I resolved to just not use the dispenser. After about a year, I had decided that I wanted to repair it and would look at the options myself. At the least, I could figure out which parts were needed to repair it and have them on hand for a service guy if I determined I could not do the job myself. The more I studied it, the more I felt confident that I could do it, and sure enough, when the part arrived - a... Read more
