No power two out of three thermo devices were bad Robert U. • Montclair , NJ • October 02, 2015
With no power in the unit I started to investigate. I removed the power cord and checked the supply. Then I removed a few panels from the unit.
The parts are readily accessible and the wiring diagrams on the computer are very helpful.
I removed the wires from each device and the probed the devices.
I ordered the parts from Appliance Parts Pros online and they shipped the parts in less than one day!

The turn table in my ge advantium oven was not turning during operation Donn D. • Apex , NC • April 19, 2014
I unplugged the oven and left it installed over the range, removed the screws for the bottom plate, unplugged the cable for the bottom lamp and the turn table motor. Two screws removed the motor and the mount from the bottom of the oven. The new motor and mount replacement parts in the kit were installed easily by replacing the two mounting screws. Reassembly was the reverse of disassembly.

Our over the range microwave stopped working just shut off completely Joyce P. • East Brunswick , NJ • December 03, 2016
My husband is the hero in this story. At this time in our lives we weren't looking to purchase another microwave. After 10 years at my company, due to a workforce reduction, my position was eliminated. He quickly realized it could be the fuse. We searched the microwave and the part on line and appliance part pros came up with the parts for our microwave. We needed the fuse and the fuse holder. For under $20 we were able to get the microwave working again. Thank you appliance part pros for...

Turntable and fan turned on when the oven door was opened Kurt K. • Seattle , WA • October 06, 2018
If you search for this issue online, you’ll see this is caused by a faulty door switch - the primary interlock micro switch (with the red button). This switch is at the lowest position in the bracket that holds the switches.
The hardest part for me was pulling the cover off. Two screws on one side of the black cover, one on the other side and several screws in back. The cover slides back. The switches are clearly visible on the right hand side. The white door paddle presses on the switch...

Damper assembly was constantly running James G. • Delafield , WI • October 19, 2014
Replaced unit. You need to know that the touch pad needs to come out to make repair. One screw and two tabs on bottom. Mechanical connection on damper unit has a tab that connects assembly to damper unit. This needed to be bent up to remove old part.

Microwave grill had been damaged by years of use Richard M. • Pagosa Springs , CO • October 25, 2015
I ordered a new grill from APP and replaced it. The repair (replacement) was simple as pie,
but the two metal screw receivers on the new grill had changed screw size. The original
screws were boogers to get in so I suggest the manufacturers include two compatible
screws. Otherwise, no problem.

My door handle broke for the second time!!! James M. • Watertown , CT • January 09, 2016
The top screw is easy to get at after the door yoke is removed. The lower is behind the plate that holds the glass and door together. I removed the door very simple just lift up in the full open position .lay the door on a towel and drill a 1/4 inch hole over the head of the screw and you now can remove the screw with out disassembling the door. Something the factory should have done! Also if your door is sagging it will put stress on the handle. use a adjustable wrench and twist the hinges to...

Microwave would not heat but had power Wilbur C. • Washington , DC • December 16, 2017
14 year old GE Profile microwave wouldn't heat, but had power. Read reviews here. Ordered triumvirate of magnetron, capacitor, & diode. Was hoping not to need the capacitor as this was an expensive part; and if not needed to return to AppliancePartsPros, which has been SOP.
After watching a couple YouTube videos of microwave capacitors being shorted, I made a capacitor discharge tool ordering 24W 100K Ohm resistor and high voltage test wires w/ alligator clips from amazon. At the same time,...
