Fix dishwasher not heating or melted terminals with this heater terminal nut. Secures the heating element wire connection to prevent arcing and leaks.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. Determined that the thermal fuse also needed to be replaced. Replaced the thermal fuse as shown in the video. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry. Drawer slide rail supports smooth pedestal drawer opening and closing. Replace if drawer sticks, won't close, or plastic spring breaks. Verify fit with model.
Unfortunately I had to buy the whole rail, as the plastic part cannot be found anywhere. The rail that I received, even if in the pictorial description shows the right side (the one I needed), when I got it resembled the left side. Fortunately it could be mounted after some rotation, as the plastic spring and the rail are working together nd it is assembled on the rail, so it could be mounted. Read more
Upper rack spray arm that rotates to distribute water across dishes during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, broken, or worn from constant motion.
Water supply tube that connects to the upper rack spray arm assembly. Replace if cracked, worn, or detached causing leaks or poor water flow to the arm.
Replaced spray arms and tube. Found all had debris in them and prohibited water pressure from reaching items. After replacement everything comes out sparkling. Don't understand how the spray arms getting plugged. Almost like waste water is recycled. Set of 8 Torx screws and washers for mounting dishwasher tub rollers. Replace bent, stripped, or corroded fasteners when installing new rollers.
Dishwasher worked fine except the top rack would keep coming off the rails, could see the rollers needed replacement. Washer is 10 years old, and in that time the rollers had become brittle and broken. At first tried to use old screw and washer, but washer was impossible to remove from screw as I have hard water and the calcium deposits seemingly cemented it. Clear glass lens cover for oven interior light. Replace when cracked, broken, or discolored from heat. 3-inch diameter. Confirm fit with your model number.
Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions).
