I took apart the washer to find both of the weight balancers had broken in 2 and were banging around. They had also caused the boot seal to rip. I removed the broken weight balancers and replaced them along with a new boot seal. With all the bouncing around the shocks appeared to be done in but that was not the issue. The key was the balance ring. It had leaked all the fluid out causing all the beads to clump. This caused the drum to wobble wildly and not spin at speed. Getting to the ring to replace it is not a trivial task and took me several hours. I first check the schematics to find the heat sensor. On my model it's c on the control panel. I checked the continuity on the orange and white wires. It showed some continuity but not much. At first I thought it was the bearing, but when I got it apart I found the main shaft had corroded from possibly the soap powder and bleach combo build up on the part. After I cleaned it all up I found one of the three mounting braces was cracked and causing the unit to shake during the spin cycle.
