I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. I found the plastic molded bracket that the timer rests on to be broken and the tab on the timer where it is attached by a screw to be broken. I ordered a replacement switch, dial and knob. When it arrived I replaced the parts as instructed, but I had to use super glue to hold the new switch in place due to the support tab on the washer panel being broken off. After letting... I replaced the following parts in the GE WASHER that I have owned for approximately 14 years: Part no.: WH08X10038 - rubber gasket Part no.: WH01X10277 - inside gasket clamp Part no.: WH01x10279 - outside gasket clamp The two gasket clamps were ordered on 1/18/24 and delivered the next afternoon to my front door. Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Remove the control panel (unplug cable), then remove the spring/wire that holds on the door bellows to the front panel (removing and installing that is the most difficult part of the job) and carefully remove the bellows from the front panel. Had to remove the front and top panel on the dryer, disconnect the belt and remove the drum. From there it was two screws to slide out the motor assembly with the fan attached and one bolt to remove the clamp and screw kit holding the fan in place. They kit was worn and was allowing the fan to move forward and back on the motor shaft. Once replaced it took about 5 minutes to reassemble and my dryer now purs like a kitten. Read more

If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it. After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. Replaced all three dampers and then replaced locking gaskets for the top spring mounts for the drum, replaced the old feet pads I had and works like a charm! Read more

The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. Fixing was easy and took approximately 1 hour. I have a Bosch Axxis washing machine and all parts came exactly as ordered and within 2 days of order. I had to take off front and top panel and the door switch. The new wire and spring was part of the order and I had to pay for it. The old parts looked fine to me and I could have reused them but since I had the new ones, I replaced them anyhow. I wish I would have the option to buy the rubber gasket only. Read more

Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again.
