After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. A cell phone was used to photograph the wiring layout and connectors plugged into the CCU, and then all connectors and the harness were carefully removed from the CCU without incident. Andrew helped me trouble shoot the problem. First I replaced the elments but that did not fix the problem. When I spoke with Andrew he told me how to test the OHMS on the new and old element and they were both readying 26 OHMS. I then replaced the control panel for the clock and oven controls. It's very easy fix. If your unit flashing e2 f2. It's your relay board take screw if on door couple latched s on the gray relay box pull wires harness of slow. Re install the same way it came of Just remember to cut the power off first . Leave your door open when re powering unit. Read more

Remove the 2 screws that hold on the front cover just above the washer, the control board is in front of you. Remove the 2 small screws that secure the board, they are star screws, very small ones, do not drop them, for they will fall into the washer tub. Take a picture of the wiring harness, press the 2 tabs on each side of the board, left and right side, the board will pop out. replace the wiring harness, wiring harness has tabs that hold them in place. Replaced the main power circuit board. Took less than 5 minutes, just needed a small wrench to get the screw that held the board holder in place. Read more

Tested start relay and fan with multimeter both passed. The condenser would start only if the thermostat was on the highest setting and the refrigerator would cool for a while, stop and not restart unless I adjusted the defrost timer. Decided to replace the thermostat, defrost timer and defrost thermostat. The refrigerator is working as expected. FYI on a Kenmore 59669142992 the defrost timer is located under the freezer in the front right. Read more
