Thermal Limiter Parts

When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. Unpluged dryer unscrewed vent hose used nut driver to remove back pannal then took flat head screw driver to bend tab on heating elment caseing and pry carefully the electrical conector away from elment conection to remove thermostat then i placed the new thermostat on tap and pushed elctrical conetion back onto heater element conection till everything was thight and didnt wiggle dryer works well now Read more

The thermal cutoff went bad because of lint being trapped in dryer vent and blocked air-flow from dryer. Removed accumilation of lint and installed new thermal -cutoff and thermostat and dryer now works great. Read more

Replaced upper and lower felts. Painted rubbing surface on inside of drum with refrigerator enamel. Took out drum and lubed rear bearing. Replaced 2 of the 3 thermostats, and the belt just on principle. Spent a lot of time with shop-vac removing lint from drier and exhaust ducts. Runs great and is no longer cooking or staining clothes.
