This tub cover seal fits between the outer tub and the tub cover/splash guard on compatible washers. It keeps wash water and suds contained, helping prevent leaks from the top of the cabinet during agitation and spin.
- Forms a watertight barrier between the outer tub and the tub cover/splash guard
- Helps prevent splash-over and top-rim leaks during wash and spin
- Maintains proper containment of water and suds inside the tub assembly
- Common failure signs: water leaking from the top area, wet streaks down the outer tub, visible cracks, hardening, or flattening of the seal
What's included: One tub cover seal. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water supply before servicing; wear gloves and eye protection.
- Access the tub cover per service instructions; release the retainer ring/clips to remove the cover and old seal.
- Clean and dry all mating surfaces; remove residue so the new seal seats evenly.
- Lightly moisten the new seal, install uniformly around the rim, reinstall the cover/retainer, and run a short test with water to check for leaks.

I tore into the washer until i found what i thought was the problem which was the upper outer tub splash cover gasket and when i couldnt find one in my town i ordered a new one from u folks and replaced it hoping for the best and was successful. This fix costed me $35 instead of the $400+ for a new washer glad i looked into it instead of discarding it and buying a new one as most may do thanks
