I called a local appliance service person, who diagnosed the problem as a bad main power board and offered to fix it for a substantial sum. The basin would fill but would not agitate, there was no sound, no grinding noises, no sound of a motor running without agitation due to a broken belt. The basin full of water was able to drain if I advanced the timer to Spin. By playing around with the timer dial further, I could get every function of the washer to operate, at least partially. After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. A cell phone was used to photograph the wiring layout and connectors plugged into the CCU, and then all connectors and the harness were carefully removed from the CCU without incident. My dishwasher just stopped working one day. I know my way around tools but wouldn’t call myself a “handyman“. It's very easy fix. If your unit flashing e2 f2. It's your relay board take screw if on door couple latched s on the gray relay box pull wires harness of slow. Re install the same way it came of Just remember to cut the power off first . Leave your door open when re powering unit. Read more

• Freezer not defrosting

I took the bottom tray out of the freezer and found the coils iced up severely. I was reasonably sure the defrost timer was the problem and your tech said that was a good possibility. Ordered and replaced timer. (15 minutes) Problem fixed!!! Saved purchasing a new fridge at big bucks. We live over 40 miles from a service center so the cost of having a tech come out is astronomical. Thanks!!! Read more

Replace the inverter and pc board noticed the pc board had a bulging capacitor so replaced it while I was at it. Both were simple fixes. Taking less than 45 total. Read more
