I ORDERED A NEW CONTROLLER BOARD. THE DIRECTIONS SHOWED HOW TO UNCLIP THE OLD BOARD BUT THE FASTENERS WERE ON THE LEFT SIDE NOT THE BOTTOM AS INDICATED ON THE REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS. AFTER REASSEMBLY THE DISHWASHER FUNCTIONED AS NEW. THNKS FOR THE INSIGHT. Read more

After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. My dishwasher just stopped working one day. I know my way around tools but wouldn’t call myself a “handyman“. I ordered the timer and knob on Monday, they arrived around noon on Tuesday, and within an hour I had them installed and back in business. I was amazed how quickly the parts got here. The online video showing the procedure step by step was very helpful. Instead of disconnecting all the wires and having to keep up with which one went where, I moved each wire one by one and made sure I didn't get any of them in the wrong place.
