I first called a GE service tech in to diagnose the problem. He said very quickly that the oven circuit board had a fault in it. He said it would cost $ 563. to replace. Remove the 2 screws that hold on the front cover just above the washer, the control board is in front of you. Remove the 2 small screws that secure the board, they are star screws, very small ones, do not drop them, for they will fall into the washer tub. Take a picture of the wiring harness, press the 2 tabs on each side of the board, left and right side, the board will pop out. replace the wiring harness, wiring harness has tabs that hold them in place. Ordered the timer. Amazed in arrived in less that 24 hours. Reviewed the video with instructions twice and removed the old timer and replaced with the new. Working fine now. Andrew helped me trouble shoot the problem. First I replaced the elments but that did not fix the problem.
