Rock K Greencastle , IN January 07, 2019 Appliance: Model BOSCH NEXXT SERIES WASHING MACHINE E13 error on Bosch washing machine I checked online to determine that the E13 error code (this particular code is not in the operating manual) on my Bosch washing machine meant a problem with the drain pump. I cleaned out the pre-filter (which really appeared pretty clean) and it worked for a few loads, however, a few days later I got the E13 error code again, and the drum was full of water. After cleaning out the pre-filter again the error code came up after running the washer empty. I found the replacement pump and assembly on AppliancePartsPros.com, and ordered it. It arrived in just a few days, and was identical to the pump assembly I needed to replace (except the new pump has a drain line to empty the water in the drum if there is a future problem - this will be really helpful as the only way to drain the drum if there is a problem is via the access point which makes a huge mess when opened). Installation was a little tricky, and took me about 4 hours from start to finish. The biggest problem I ran into was the fact that the side of the Bosch washing machine we have is integral to the machine, and holds up the drum. Since I couldn't take the side off, I had to replace the pump through the clean-out access on the front of the machine. This access point is only about 6" in diameter. The suction hose on the pump was the biggest problem as it was very difficult to work with the hose clamp through such a small access point (very difficult to get 2 hands & a pliers into the machine through the hole). After getting the new pump installed I ran an empty load and the pump worked perfectly. We have run a number of loads through the machine in the week since installing the new pump and it appears to be working perfectly. This is certainly a repair that someone with average repair skills can complete themselves. Karen G Liverpool , PA July 21, 2014 Drain pump went bad was not draining the water out of each load When my Bosch washing machine started to not drain the water out I did a little research on Google. Found that it was my drain pump. So I unscrewed the “plug” for the drain pump, found a few bobby pins, nails and a quarter. Thought that was the issue. Nope....still not draining water. Did a little more research and found this company Appliance Parts Pros. I knew the part I needed so I ordered it. In about 2 days I had the new part, I was able to install it myself and BAM I got the washer working. Bottom line, if you can determine what is wrong and what part you need, I HIGHLY recommend Appliance Parts Pros!! I am 100% satisfied! Pete P Shelby , NC March 23, 2014 E13 error on Bosch washing machine My Bosch washing machine was throwing an E13 error code, which was a drain pump problem. Called the authorized Bosch repair center to send out a tech to confirm problem. The repair center confirmed the problem but then said the pump is on perpetual backorder with Bosch with no release date. We do 2+ loads per day, that is not going to work. They didn't seem to care. Went online, you had the pump, we had the pump two days later and installed it that night. Same pump mfg as original. No mods, plug and play, we were back in business. As a business owner myself, I couldn't be more thrilled with the way this went. Tough crap local Bosch guy, Thank you Appliance Parts Pro!!!! J Zion Y Rochester , NY October 12, 2018 2004 nexxt bosch washer wasn't draining e04 error code pump made a funny noise like something was blocking it but nothing was I am thrilled that AppliancePartsPros empowered me to fix my washing machine and stave off an expensive purchase! A friend who repairs domestic machines felt that it might be more cost effective to put repair money toward a new machine, especially since the 14 year old foreign machine's model number was missing (panel switched out with prior repair) so could be difficult to find right part. Decided I had nothing to lose checking it out myself since option was to throw machine away. Discovered how to remove pump (surprisingly easy!) and found enough numbers on part that AppliancePartsPros was able to tell me which part I needed. Their video taught me how to switch it out (again, surprisingly easy!) and the part arrived the NEXT day (selected the 2-3 day shipping method). The only thing that made the repair difficult was working through the 6" circular panel on my model. Thank you for your great service! Alex W Saint Robert , MO May 14, 2017 Intermittent problem with my bosch nexxt series 300 washer not draining (e13 code) For over 2 years had my Bosch Nexxt 300 Series washer intermittently giving me an E13 error code. I'd restart it and sometimes it would cycle through fine or not. Finally it started to emit an electrical smell and I was finally sure that the drain pump was the culprit. A front access repair is impossible without disassembling the the complete front panel. Best to attempt the drain pump replacement from the rear of the washer. A pain, but doable... Jan B Saint Albans , MO May 13, 2018 Appliance: Bosch Washer WFMC6400UC/01 Drain pump impeller was loose noisy and not draining well Replaced drain pump assembly. Removed back panel to reach electric connector. Then was able to remove entire assembly thru the 4” round service port in front of machine by loosening black rubber drain pipe, and then pulling off grey drain pipe. Next you slide the assebly back to disengage the 4 button rubber feet / grommets. Reverse for installation. Took opportunity to clean grey drain pipe thoroughly by sweeping and power washing. Lots of gunk in there. Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Wrench Set
Kristopher N Boulder , CO August 02, 2018 Appliance: Model NEXXT 500 SERIES. Our Bosch washer had been alerting with a E13 error code The steps to fix the washer were simple, but the actual installation was a little challenging because in order to replace the drain pump assembly without moving the washer, you have to do all the work through about a 5" wide hole. Here are the steps: 1. Remove the front cover at the lower right of the washer by inserting a thin rod through the hole in the round cover and rotating the cover clockwise. 2. If a drain tube is present, pull it out, un-plug the drain tube and drain any water into a pan. If no drain tube is present, you can carefully and slowly unscrew the insert to the pump assembly and use a shop-vac to suck up the water as it starts to come out. 3. Loosen the hose clamp that attaches the inlet hose from the left side of the assembly, and pull off the rubber hose. This is a little challenging because you're working through the small access hole. 4. Slightly twist and pull off the drain hose from the top of the assembly. Also tricky, but there are no fasteners involved and it *does* pull straight off. 5. Push the assembly backward to loosen the rubber feet. You might use a flat screwdriver here. 6. Reach behind and blindly unplug the power supply cord from the pump motor. 7. Fiddle - a lot - to get the old pump assembly out through the access hole. It's possible. 8. Insert the new pump assembly and reverse each of the steps above (in reverse order.)
