Replacing the 4 suspension rods with new ones definitely solved the unbalanced load "DC" problem. However, they are not too easy to replace, you need to remove back cover, top cover, front cover and likely flip the machine on its side. It is not a terribly difficult repair but takes some time. Also, given the price of these parts, you have to think if you really like this machine to keep on using for another while before spending $150 for new rods and shipping. In my case my machine is in great shape so I decided to do it (the repair was nine months ago and it is still working well). Do not forget to also order appropriate lubricating grease for use on the plastic supports. This will reduce premature wear and most importantly reduce noise. Initially my machine was super noisy after the repair, but after lubricating and putting it to work a couple of times to spread the grease through vibration, all noise was gone.
