Replaced the Ice Maker which may have not been the problem. It made four batches and quit. I contacted PartsPros via their question section. I learned that there may be a 'troubleshooting guide' on the back of the appliance. Sure enough, there was. It gave steps in checking the light sensor system on the side of the freezer that lines up with the ice bucket. The red light was flashing two pulses at a time. Close the flapper door on the other side and it still flashed. This indicated by the guide the sensor system was bad. PartsPros confirmed that. Ordered the two boards, replaced them. The unit is working normally with lots of ice. The part that hurt was nearly $500 in parts for frozen water! But a service call, troubleshooting, and parts would probably have been the same. Or a new appliance for $1,500. Decisions, decisions. PartsPros is a good site for the handyman types. Thanks for the help. Love the video instructions.
