For Frigidaire Control (Part Number: OEM20677785)

Frustrated for Model Number fafw3511kro

Would not perform high speed spin. It thinks the door is open. The code is for control board replacement. I replaced the control board with reconditioned control board. The new board will not work. All program LEDs flash and only a couple of programs light up but I don't know which ones due to LEDs flashing. I received another control board but I get the same results. I reinstalled the original control board and it works fine except for no final spin.I also installed a new door switch.

Hello Frustrated, For model FAFW3511KR0, you should pull the tech sheet and run the diagnostics to pull the fault codes. If the unit still "thinks the door is open" after the main board and door lock assembly has been replaced, there will be an issue with the wiring harness 134606800 and/or 137104600.

Keu, Remove power to the washer for 5 or so minutes, plug the power cord back in and perform the " FACTORY RESET 1¼”x2” display models, wake machine, push the spin speed and soil selection keys simultaneously and hold until you hear a beep. This is no more than 10 seconds." If the problem persists, or if you wish, remove the top panel and retrieve the tech data sheet, from the top panel or frame brace and review the error codes logged by the memory, and run the operational tests listed on the sheet.

Del, You will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac getting to the water valve. If there is not 120 vac to the valve and staying steady then the valve is the issue. If there is only momentary power to the valve then the issue will be caused by a faulty main control board.

Hello Warren, If your model number is actually FTF2140ES0, this is a door latch fault code. I would replace the 131763256 door latch assembly unless the model number is in fact different from the one I listed. The one you provided unfortunately did not come up as valid. If it is different, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can recommend parts that can be guaranteed to work properly on your unit. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Hello Ed. Yes, you can check the board. You need to test for power from the board to the pump. If it is there, then the board is fine and the pump will need to be replaced. A continuity test on the pump is not a definitive test. A power test is a great test. Sorry we do not have a video at this time. We are working daily at adding new videos to our site.

Steven J for Model Number FTF2140ES

I'm trying to determine which part to buy to repair my front loading washing machine. My Frigidaire front loading washing machine FTF2140ES ( year 2006 or 2007) blinks as follows, however I cannot interpret the code could you please help ? After pressing the start and cancel buttons, I get 2 blinks of the start light and 2 blinks of the other 5 lights at the same time, then there is a longer pause followed with 4 blinks of only the 5 lights. What does it mean ?

Hello John. You will need to check and make sure the unit does not have any stuck buttons and make sure the lock is good. If so, then it sounds like the control board will need to be replaced on the unit.
