Denise December 08, 2011 for Model Number LTF2140ES0 Unit will not spin, regardless of the wash mode being used. I pulled the tech sheet and ran the diagnostic, the machine spins fine when I do the diagnostic test using the program knob, #9 for spin. The code shown is E43. Well, that was pretty easy except for the fact that I left it in this mode so that I could finish the load that was dripping wet. Now I can no longer get any of the LED lights to stop flashing, lock the door, or restart. I did take the machine out of the diagnostic mode and it still did not work. I unplugged the machine and replugged it in many times for different lengths of time. The LEDs just flash and do nothing. The machine does not work at all at this point. Would something else be an issue now, or still just the motor control board? Appreciate the help. Denise
1 Answer Hello Denise. If the control board 137005000NH is flashing, and does not reset or come out of diagnostics, you will need to replace the control board. Hope this helps. Read More...
Lisa November 11, 2011 for Model Number Frigidaire LTF2140FS1 Hello about 6 monthes ago my washing machine started to only wash clothes on the normal cycle with warm water. Otherwise it would just sit there and not start of fill with water. Then it stopped rinsing and draining unless you manually switched the setting to rinse. My husband unpluged the dryer to see if there was some type of reset. Now it wont do anything. When you try start the washer it will not lock and the start button just blinks. Does this sound like I need to replace the control panel on the front for the washer? Please help!! Thanks!!!
1 Answer Hello Lisa. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the water valve 134866600 and the control board 137005000NH may be bad on the unit. Also, check and make sure the door lock assembly 131763256 is good on the unit. Hope this helps. Read More...
Kim October 18, 2011 for Model Number FTFB4000FS1 My washer with model # FTFB4000FS1 starts properly and after awhile it stops and goes off and on with the lights blinking, could this be a motor control board, a specialist came to check the washer out and he said when "something" heats up either the motor control board or the control board. Any info will be appreciated.
1 Answer Hi Kim. Inside the bottom panel there should be a tech sheet which will allow you to troubleshoot using the blinking lights. The blinking lights are error codes and the sheet will tell you how to read them and what they mean. This may lead to you replacing the machine control board part # 137005000NH. Make sure the pump is unclogged and the drain hose is OK. Also quick check and see if your water valves are on. Thank You. Read More...
Thomas September 28, 2011 for Model Number LTF2140FS0 Hello. The four LED lights of my washer stay on constantly. The machine will not run and I cannot get it to go into the diagnostics mode. If I push a button or turn a knob, it only beeps and flashes three times. I leave the unit unplugged overnight, though no change when I plug it back in. I did inspect the motor controller and cleaned what appeared to be a bad connection at one of the slip-on wire connectors, though there was no change in status afterwards. Your suggestions are appreciated. I suspect the main control board. Thomas
1 Answer Hello Thomas. Based on the information you provided, it does sounds like the control board 137005000NH is bad and will need to be replaced. Check and make sure there are no loose connections and no broken wires. If not, replace the control board. Hope this helps. Read More...
Tvg August 28, 2011 for Model Number Frigidaire FTFB400FS1 We are getting an error code we can't find anywhere, E62. 2 flashes from the Start LED, and 6 from the 5 LED row. The problem is the machine will just run and stop, starting and stop throughout the cycles -- all cycles. We have jiggled the machine, plugged and unplugged. Still, just this stopping and starting accompanied by the LED board just going dark. It's like the whole thing is just losing power over and over. We are thinking maybe just replace the whole control board? Any ideas?
1 Answer Hi Tvg. We are not aware of the E-62 code. The E-52 code is a tach generator code where the speed control monitors the motor tach. circuit. In your explanation it may just need the control board since it is giving stop/start issues and a code unknown. The control board is part # 137005000NH. There is a tech sheet under the top or the side panel in a packet that allows for a service tech. to put the machine in a field service test. Thank you. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Deb. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board 137005000NH is bad and will need to be replaced. You will want to check for loose or broken wires. If they are good, you will need to replace the control board. Hope this helps. Read More...

James May 26, 2011 for Model Number ftf2140fs1 The washer wont start on any cycle, when its not working. The door locks like it should but wont go anywhere from there. I have been able to get it to go by entering the diag mode and clearing the code. I have a 43 code also, there is resistance on the j2 plug off the back of the board, used a dvm but it doesn't change when the door is open or shut. It seems like it should, given there is a switch in the lock solenoid. Do you think I have a bad board or lock solenoid?
1 Answer Hello James. According to the manufacture, E43 is a control board problem, and you will need to replace the control board 137005000NH. Hope this helps. Read More...
