Sherry, The most likely cause of this issue will be that the control panel is locked out or the door switch in the latch are not making causing the unit to think the door is open.

Chris for Model Number FAFW3511KW0

A few weeks ago, my Affinity front-loading washer started shutting off between the wash cycle and the first drain-and-rinse, leaving the load soaked in sudsy water. At first, restarting the washer solved the problem; the second time through everything worked fine. Two days ago it happened again, only this time the washer failed to restart. The controls seemed to function normally, and I heard relays click when I pushed 'Start', but after that it just sat there and hummed. Thinking that the drain sump might be clogged, I cleaned and reinstalled it. Once I got everything back together, I checked for Error Codes. It showed E75, indicating Test 12 - Check NTC resistance. Unfortunately, this model is not equipped with a booster heater, and so has no NTC. That location on the back of the drum is just blank plastic. As it stands now, I have the washer hooked up and plugged in, trying to run the Clean cycle, but when I press 'Start' all that happens is the door locks. I am about to try the Diagnostic Test, but should I pretty much assume that I'll be stuck getting a new control board?

Todd for Model Number ATF6000ES1

My Frigidaire Affinity front load washer (ATF6000ES1) has no problem with draining and doing a final high speed spin for all the cycles EXCEPT the Spin Only cycle. Every once in a while, on a heavy load or load that the washer is unable to balance for spin, the washer will finally give up without high speed spin. My wife then tries the Spin Only cycle. The washer goes through the drain portion of the cycle, slowly rotates the load in alternating directions 7 times (I think), and then totally shuts down (all lights off) at 6 min remaining without attempting any sort of high speed spin. This happens with a load or empty. Holding the Cancel and Start buttons shows a E47 code. I checked the Door Latch assembly PTC and it showed about 1600 Ohms so it should be OK. Next step per the Washer Tech Data Sheet is to replace the Main Control Board. Does my problem sound like it should be solved doing this? Thanks!

Hello Todd, Since the fault code indicates the board thinks the door PTC circuit is open in spin and the unit will go through the spin cycle in the cycles, the board 134523106 has to have an issue.

Hello Lisa, This fault code signifies the water is not draining out fast enough. If there were debris in the sump area that could have contacted the pump impeller, the pump 137221600 has most likely failed.
