For Frigidaire Washer Motor Control Board (Part Number: OEM11675349)

Steve for Model Number BLTF2940FS1

I got a real difficult issue and would need some advise. My washer won't let water in any wash cycle. I checked the solenoids for conductivity and they are ok. When using the wash/ drain cycle my drain pump won't drain. The conductivity is fine and I can measure 120 V on the drain pump quick connect. At this point I switched the main control board with no effect. When running the diagnose cycle I will get a E57 error (high voltage on inverter). My motor runs freely and conductivity is ok between pins 1 to 3 and between 4 and 5. Do this issue relate to the motor speed control board?

1 Answer

Steve, This issue will most likely be a issue with the speed control board with getting the E57 error. For the water not filling you will want to check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the valve and if there is then the valve is faulty and if there is not then will be the main board that is the issue.

Steve, With no power getting to the valve or the pump then this would more likely be an issue with the main control board of the unit and not the motor control.

Hello Dale. Based on the error code you provided, it sounds like the control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.

Brad, You will want to check the wiring of the unit and if the wiring checks ok then this will be a faulty main control board.

Mark, You can put the unit into a spin cycle and see if there is power getting to the speed control board and if there is then the speed control would be faulty and if not then the main board would likely be the issue.

Anthony, The main control board on the unit will be part number 137006000 but you will also want to check the wire to the drain pump to make sure that it is not corroded or damaged.

Mike G for Model Number Frigidaire front load washer

My Frigidaire front load washer will fill, and drain but it won't spin. I have run through the Frigidaire diagnostics sequence. Everything works except filling. The motor spins fine. Resistance between the motor pins is ~5 Ohms, so in spec. The drum rotates freely. My error code is E5F. I have checked wiring from the main control board to the motor controller and it looks fine. E5F points me to a test that says to replace the main controller and if that doesn't fix the problem then replace the motor controller. Shotgunning a repair is expensive and I am trying to convince myself the main controller is good since all the other functions work on it. I think I need a new motor controller, 134743500. I also plan to get a new belt since I have the back cover off. What do you think?

1 Answer

Hello Mike. It could be the motor control, but check the door lock first. This is more of a common issue causing the issue your having.

Shelly, The motor control board is a very likely issue, but first check the wiring harness between the motor control board and the main control, if all's Ok( the wire connections are good and tight, no twisted or damaged wires) then replace the motor control board.

Matt, First check the fill hose and fill valve debris screens, a slow fill will extend the wash cycle. Then check to make sure the washer is draining properly. if you've done the basic checks for suds, off balanced loads etc. then check or replace the main control board.

Glenn for Model Number ATF6000ES1

Started out I was TOLD that this machine would not spin. When i got there I could not get it to cycle at all. Everything lit up, I could hear it click, the timer started counting down. But it did not fill Given that info I figured it was the door latch so I replaced it. Put it all back together, pushed normal wash, machine started filling, then washing and I thought I was good. Lady called me back an hour or so later and said it did not spin. Went back and tried to get it to start again and right back to would not fill again. Checked the belt, emptied the coin catcher in the pump boot(wasn't but 2 pennies a nickle and a dime) Put it back together and still nothing. I'm thinking control board but don't want to order another part I don't need. Also it is not displaying any error codes. Help please, TIA. Glenn

Glenn, With the unit not filling or doing anything other than lighting up then this issue would most likely be caused by a faulty control board.
