For Frigidaire Washer Motor Control Board (Part Number: OEM11675349)

1 Answer

Hello Robert, If the spin basket turns freely when turned by hand, the issue is most likely the control board, motor control board 134743500 or the wiring between the two. Note that the tech sheet refers you to test 11 which reads as follows: Communication problem. Check the wiring between the control board and the speed control board. Wiring bad - Correct wiring problem. Wiring good - Replace the control board. If the problem is not corrected, replace the speed control board.

Dave for Model Number ATF6700FS1

My Frigidaire ATF6700FS1 will appear to cycle including a count down on the display but aside from the door locking nothing else happens. I put power to all 3 solenoids and they work - the pressure switch activates and deactivates the door - I ran a diagnostic on it and got a E56 code - checked ohms and get 5.5-5.6 and it spins freely - next step is to replace the speed control board according to the diagnostic but it does not seam like this would be the problem unless this board controls everything else as nothing happens at all - no spin - no fill - no drain - just a door lock and count down - I did notice when pulling the front control (maybe twisting it slightly) it momentarily started to fill but I could not repeat the incident again - Thanks for your time

Dave, This issue would most likely not be a speed control issue but would be the main control board that is faulty. The part number for the main board is 137006030.

David, For this issue of the E23 error code, this would be a drain pump relay on the control board has failed or there is a wire off the pump. You will want to check the pump and wiring between the pump and the control board. If they check ok for no loose or broken wires then the main control board will be the issue.

Jim for Model Number model LTF2140FS1

I'm working on a Frigidaire front load washer model LTF2140FS1. When I push the start button the door locks and that is as far as it goes, nothing. Just like the water wasn't turned on. I checked the pressure switch. That's ok. I don't have any power at the water valves. I checked all the connections and they're good. I think I have narrowed it down to either the control panel isn't sending the signal to the main board to start or the main isn't receiving the signal. I am wondering what you thought?

1 Answer

Jim, presumably you tested the pressure switch with the air tube disconnected, and had a "closed" circuit across the terminals on the switch. You may want to blow in the end of the tube, to make sure there is no debris or sediment in the tube, that would restrict or block the air flow in the tube to the switch. Then disconnect the J9 connector from the main control board and check for the same circuits / wires in the harness. If the readings are correct, replace the main control board.

Hello James. If the pump works, then the next thing to check is the pressure switch and hose. If they are good, then replace the board.

Hello James. If the pump is cleaned out and it still does not drain you will need to replace the drain pump on the unit.

Ryan, It would be more likely that the drain is clogged or the drain pump is faulty than the motor control to be bad. Check the hoses and filter on the pump to ensure that they are not clogged. If they check ok then replace the drain pump.
