For Frigidaire Washer Motor Control Board (Part Number: OEM11675349)

M.R.S. for Model Number FAFS4272LA0

Recently got an E58. Diagnostic test did not spin in high. Did test #8 from Tech Sheet. Tub and Motor Spun Freely. All connections secure. Ohm'ed motor winding's and were within specs of Tech sheet. So Motor Control was replaced. Did a diagnostic spin and it checked out. Did a small load and it went through a whole cycle fine. Second small load and E58 appears. I've already replaced the Motor Control. Am I just changing parts? How can I pin point this problem? I gather the motor control monitors current and speed control? It will spin in high in diagnostic mode with no codes; empty tub. AS WITH OLD MOTOR CONTROL it would not spin at all in high in diagnostic mode.

Hello M.R.S., Since it is possible to have a bad new board 137260800, I would replace this board again. You should also double check the resistances of the motor windings and the harness. The motor control 134618213 is likely at fault with these symptoms. I could not help but notice the board you listed is not on the manufacturers parts for this model.

Kerch, If you can put the unit to drain and spin and it will spin out then the issue will most likely be with the control board which is part number 137005020NH.

Hello P. If the start button is not working on the control board and it is timing out, then you have a bad board. There should be a tech sheet in the unit. You can use this sheet to run diagnostics on the unit.

Hello Joel. Disconnect harness from motor and check resistance on terminals 4 and 5 on motor, should be between 105 and 130 ohms. If good go to next step. Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings (pin 1 to 2, pin 1 to 3, pin 2 to 3). All readings should be between 4 and 6 Ohms. If the readings are correct, replace the speed control board. If the readings are incorrect, replace the motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Jerry for Model Number ATFB6700FS0

My washer will not start. When you press the start button all the lights come on even the door lock light and you hear a slight hum from the back left corner of the machine coming from the area close to or below the water control valves that last a few seconds and then the machine shuts off. I ordered a door lock assembly from you guys hoping that would correct the problem. Installed it but I still have the same problem. There are no codes showing so I am at a loss as to where to go from here. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I think the machine has a diagnostic mode but I cant seem to locate any instruction on how to initiate it,or how to get it to show any code that may be stored.

Hello Jerry. Check and make sure the valve is not clogged. If not, then it sounds like the valve is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
