Toby September 12, 2015 for Model Number GLTF2940FS1 After a power outage during which the washer was running, the washer wouldn't start in any mode... Some relay clicks is all I got. Working through the tech manual- error e41 came up at all points on the dial. Changed the door lock. E41 continued. Replaced the main control panel. Now I get E5E error at all points on dial. Wiring harness tests okay between the main board and motor control panel. I assume my next step is replace the motor control panel...correct? Other options?
1 Answer Hello Toby. Yes, if the harness is good, you will need to replace the motor control on the unit. Read More...
Cliff September 10, 2015 for Model Number n/a Affinity front load washer has burned out circuit board EL1345060A. Not sure if replacing it will solve whatever caused it (not mine previously).
1 Answer Hello Cliff, The board replacement could correct the issue if nothing else in the circuit has drawn too much current. I would change it out first if no wiring issue are obvious and troubleshoot from there if a problem still exists. The model number would help for a more thorough diagnosis. Read More...
Dan August 05, 2015 for Model Number ATFB7000EG0 Washer fills up, spins once or twice sluggishly during spin cycle. Replaced motor control board, still having the same problem. Tub bearings seem alright, the drum spins freely. Started test 10, but did not remove belt. I replaced the main control board on both my washer (last year) and dryer (5 years ago) so I was leaning towards a circuit board problem. Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Dan. If the unit drain good, you will need to replace the door lock 131763256 on the unit. Read More...

Littlebits April 11, 2015 for Model Number ATF6000FS1 Washer makes a "clank" sound when it changes direction in the wash cycle. Then the machine goes to "pau" and stops.. We've tried restarting, cancelling, unplugging but encounter the same problem. However, when we switched to using "Quick" wash and "Med Spin Speed" and was able to complete the wash with no issues. What could be the problem? We usually use the normal or heavy setting and fast speed.
1 Answer Littlebits, You will want to access the tech sheet in the unit and put the unit into diagnostics and make sure that there are no stored error codes. As for the clanking noise, it is possible that there could be something caught between the inner and outer tubs. You would have to separate the tubs to check this. Read More...

A J March 18, 2015 for Model Number FWFB9200ES0 Experienced power surge. Replaced main control board; powered up - nothing. Did diagnostic test - Code E31. Replaced Pressure Switch. Powered up - nothing. Did diagnostic test - Code E41. Replaced Door Lock/Switch. Powered up - Unit ran for about 5 seconds then I saw a flash in the area of the water inlet solenoid valves. Unit died. Did diagnostic test - Code E5E. Calls for replacement of motor control board. Questions: 1) Is there a way to diagnose more than 1 problem at a time? 2) Would you recommend buying the water inlet control solenoid assembly along with the motor control board to save time, or not? 3) How many more electrical parts aside from the motor, which appears to be ok, are there that I might need to replace because of a power surge? I've spent almost enough on parts to have just bought a new washer.
1 Answer Aj, As far as electrical components there are not many left to replace other than the motor, speed control board and water inlet valve. It would be a good idea to replace both the inlet valve and motor control at the same time just to make sure that you have what is needed in case one or the other is faulty. Read More...
Charlie B March 09, 2015 for Model Number LAFW3577KR0 the control Electric Board was checked with TEST 6. the voltage was 120 it said to replace the board. BUT when I wanted to verify the error code it was E57, did TEST 9...motor was fine it said if motor is fine replace the speed/motor board. There is a humming up near the from but can't tell where it is coming from. There are two boards up front one contains the J2 terminal to check the switch the other is a square box. SO don't understand what is wrong with getting J2 voltage 120 with door shut. 2nd i'm only getting one code that point to the motor motor is fine but can't check the motor board. I tried to do the entire diagnostic on the sheet for this washer but it did work..when you TURN ON THE WASHER ALL LIGHTS APPEAR...clicking is heard...hummmis heard but the washer is dead otherwise...WHAT next .. can I test the motor board itself. I do I know what board to purchase first? thanks ..
1 Answer Charlie, If the door switch is not closing and you have 120 vac to ground then the control board is causing the issue. As far as the E57 error code that you are getting and doing test 9, with the motor checking good then this will indicate that the speed control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Wendee February 24, 2015 for Model Number FAFW3511KW1 I have a front load Frigidaire washing machine that recently started turning on by itself, meaning it would beep and show door lock green light. The only way to get the light to go off and the door to release is either by un-plugging the machine or starting a cycle and waiting just a bit, then hit cancel and all would be okay?? A few months back I also had water on the floor in front of the washer and the washer had water running out of it. I had NOT used the washer in 3 days when this happened and the door was left open. I did not think it would run water unless the door was shut and locked?? Is this the control board going bad??
1 Answer Wendee, Based on the description it does sound like the issue will be caused by a faulty control board. Read More...
