D Bunny December 07, 2014 for Model Number GLTF2940FS1 I push start and it acts as if it's going to, making the appropriate clicking sounds but then does nothing. I don't get any error codes. I checked the belt and it looks fine. Any ideas?
1 Answer D bunny, If the unit does not fill but appears to be trying to do something then check to see if the water valve is clogged it can cause the unit to not operate. The first thing that you will want to do is get the tech sheet from the unit and run a diagnostic mode to see if there are any stored error codes. If so this will point you to where you need to go with repair. Read More...
Jim November 19, 2014 for Model Number ATF7000ES1 Hello, had e23,, replaced control board Manufacturer Number 137007000,,, hooked up and ran,,, got e 23,,, looked into further the drain pump is fried, yes fried,......did I ruin the new control board??? does the motor control board have anything to do with the drain pump???? thanks
1 Answer Hello Jim. It could have damaged the new board. However, install a new pump first and see. Most likely, it did not damage the board because the pump was already burnt out. Read More...
1 Answer Andy, The E20 means that the water is not pumping out fast enough. You will want to check the following: 1. Check the drain hose for restrictions. Restriction, correct problem. No restriction, go to step (2). 2. Start the washer and check for 120VAC at the drain pump. Zero, replace the Main Control Board. 120VAC, remove the pump and check it for blockage. If blocked, remove the restriction, if not, replace the pump. Read More...
Pat S November 15, 2014 for Model Number FTF2140ES2 FTF2140ES2 washer will not go into high spin (final) in normal, rinse/spin, or drain/spin program modes. Getting E43 code. Checked motor, pump, no clogs. Ran diagnostic mode test to force unit into drain & high spin mode - it worked. Waiting to see if the error and spin problem comes back. If so, is it the motor control board or the main control board? Thanks.
1 Answer Pat, If you haven't yet, check for loose connections at the main control board 137005000NH, the motor and motor control board 134743500. If the problem persists or returns, start by replacing the motor control board 134743500. Read More...
Matty November 13, 2014 for Model Number Frigidaire LTF2140FS2 When you start a load of wash, the door locks and water starts for about two seconds then everything goes dead. That's all the machine will do, over and over. If the problem isn't the door lock/switch, do you think the problem is the main control board? Thanks in advance for you help. It is much appreciated!
1 Answer Hello Matty. Either the outlet is bad or the main board is bad on the unit. You will need to check both of them to determine where the issue is at. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Aaron A November 11, 2014 for Model Number 41748102701 Goes into spin cycle and stays there. Would this be the control board or the motor board?
1 Answer Aaron, With the issue that you are having, this would be a fault in the main control board as it will time out the spin cycle and since the spin never shuts off then it would need to be replaced. The part number for the main control board is 137005010. Read More...

Norma September 26, 2014 for Model Number ATF6000FS1 I get a E56 error. The washer won't spin. I just replaced the door latch assembly. Still having the same error. I notice the clock is to slow when counting. When getting to 1 it just stand their until it is turn off. Should part # 134743500 (control board) be the problem?
1 Answer Norma, The E56 error code would be caused by a high motor current. You will want to check the following: 1. Remove the belt from the motor and spin the motor pulley. Does the motor spin free? No, replace the motor. Yes, go to step (3). 2. Spin the tub pulley. Does the tub spin free? No, check the tub bearings. Yes, go to step (3). 3. Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings (pin 1 to 2, pin 1 to 3, pin 2 to 3). All readings should be between 4 and 6 ohms. If readings are correct, replace the Speed Control Board. If readings are incorrect, replace the motor. Read More...
