The problem is similar to one of the above stated issues. I apparently had a big chunk of old ice that moved to the front and got stuck. I freed that, but now the auger goes round and round but ice coming through the crusher is intermittent at best. Does this assembly include a crusher? I've looked it over and determined that I can't figure out why ice isn't coming out except for the metal piece at the very back of the assembly seems like it shouldn't spin freely.

1 Answer Hello Tony! Have you checked to see if the icemaker is filling with water? If its not, it could possibly be the icemaker 5304458371 or the inlet water valve 242252702. The icemaker should be sending voltage to the water inlet valve, if the valve is receiving the voltage and not filling then it is defective. However, if it fills than it would be the icemaker that is at fault. Also check to make sure that the water inlet tube is not clogged and that the freezer is at 0 to 3 degrees. 1 Answer Hi Jab. Remove the ice bin. Save wanted ice in a bowl and put back in freezer. Make sure the auger inside the bin twirls freely. Let us know if you have any broken parts. 1 Answer Hi K P. The ice maker is part # 5304458371. Behind the front white cover is a adjustment screw that adjust the size of the cube fill. It has a + and a - adjustment. If no one has adjusted this in the past recently, then it sounds as if the ice maker is either not telling the water valve (part # is 242252702) to shut off.
