1 Answer Hello Patrick. You will need to check the pump for power. If it is there and it does not run, then you will need to replace the pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Russ March 05, 2016 for Model Number frigidaire. FFBD2411NB1A Water left in bottom of tub when cycle complete. Replaced drain pump. Ran cycle and observed water being pumped into garbage disposal during cycle. At end of cycle still have water in tub?
1 Answer Russ, You will want to check to make sure that the check valve is not missing off the drain port. If it is missing then this will cause water to flow back into the tub at the end of the cycle. The part number for the check valve is 807048001. Read More...
Eliot March 04, 2016 for Model Number FPHD2491KF0 My dishwasher wouldn't drain. I found a valve stopper in the drain hose. I ordered one but there is no where to put it in or around the drain hose. The hose is completely round and looks nothing like the ones in the videos. Where does it go?
1 Answer Elliot, There should be a location on the drain hose that the valve stopper would go. Look for a slot on the hose where it would slip in. If there is not then it may be where you have to replace the drain hose for this issue. Read More...
Jesse January 25, 2016 for Model Number FDB4315LFC2 Water wasn't draining so I took everything apart. Checked the line to make sure it wasn't clogged, checked the drain pump and everything seems to be fine. When I hit the cancel button it drains the rest of the water out, but during cycle it doesn't drain. Do I need to replace the drain pump? Also now that I opened the drain pump it leaks even though the o-ring is in there. Am I missing something or do I need to use a specific lubricant?
1 Answer Hello Jesse, The only lubricant used during assembly is liquid soap. Anything else could cause "O" ring premature failure. If there are no clogs and the filters are clean the drain pump 154580301 is the obvious suspect. Anytime the circulation pump is removed the "O" rings should both be replaced, (the new circulation pump 154844101 will include these "O" rings. Read More...
Newatthis January 22, 2016 No noise during drain cycle. I've removed the drain pump and found one small piece of debris that could have been blocking impeller. With pump removed, how can I test to make sure pump is still good? What multi-meter settings and readings should I have?
1 Answer New at this, You will want to put the unit on a drain cycle and test for 120 vac to the drain pump. If there is 120 vac to the drain pump but not removing the water then the drain is faulty. If there is no power to the pump then the issue will be the control board. Read More...

Lola September 17, 2015 for Model Number fgbd2435nwoa We need a new Drain Pump. Do we also need the 2 O rings?
Erica August 31, 2015 for Model Number A00126401 Help! We just recently ordered and replaced the drain pump assembly on our frigidaire dishwasher. It was spraying but not draining the water. After we put the new pump in ... it's draining now but not spraying the water. Where do we go from here? Thank you!
1 Answer Hello Erica. Check and see if you unplugged the circulation pump or damaged the wiring harness as you were installing the drain pump into the unit. If there is power to the circulation motor and it does not run, you will need to replace the circulation motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Matt July 29, 2015 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 I have installed the pump and went to connect the purple and white wires, but couldn't remember how they were plugged into the original pump. Both fit into either slot. The slots have no marking that I can see. What is the correct way to plug them in?
1 Answer Hello Matt, Since this is an ac motor and is not polarized, the motor will run normally with the wires in either position. Swapping them will have no negative effect on the motors' operation. Read More...
