Tim August 27, 2016 for Model Number rgb746weh3ww I just received my new oven clock control panel. When I took the old one off to order, I forgot where the wires go. There are several different colored wires. Can you assist me with a diagram on where to connect each wire?
1 Answer Hello Tim, White to "N", Orange to "OL", Yellow to "BA", Red to "L", Blue to "BR". The grey connector with two wires and an empty place in the center will connect to the "1" side of the 5 pin connector and the double white wire connector will connect to the 4 and 5 connections on the same 5 pin terminal. Carlson August 10, 2015 for Model Number JGBP33WEH3WW After storm only burners work. No lights on panel. Not able to turn on oven or any thing on panel. It is dead. Would any other parts or pieces need to be replaced along with the panel.
1 Answer Hello Carlson. Test for power to the control board WB27K10355. If there is power there, and it does not work, replace the board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Patrick July 18, 2015 for Model Number Hot Point RGB740DEH4WH Range There was a lightning strike near my Mother's home. Her range flashed F2 and the oven came on and we couldn't get t to turn off. I unplugged the range overnight and it did the same thing when we plugged it back up. What is wrong?
1 Answer Patrick, The F2 is a oven over temperature condition. This happens when the door is unlocked and the temperature goes above 630 degrees. This will most likely be caused by a faulty control board in which the contacts in the relay are welded together with the unit coming on by itself and not shutting off. The part number for the control board is WB27K10355. Read More...
Ross July 15, 2015 for Model Number EGR3000EH1WW f7 40 is showing up. Does the contol panel need to be replaced?
1 Answer Ross, The F7 Error code is a shorted keypad. You will want to power the unit down and wait for 1 min and then replug the unit in. If the fault condition reappears within 5 minutes then replace the control board WB27K10355. Read More...
Moe May 01, 2014 for Model Number JGBP30CEH1CC MY PANEL IS FLASHING 31 AND F7 NONE OF THE BUTTONS WORK ON THE PANEL?

Hal M. April 20, 2014 for Model Number GE Profile JT955 (electric double oven w/convection) I have been having problems with my oven shutting off and the code "F0" flashing. What would the correct part be that I would need to replace it with. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Hal, You will need to replace the control panel. The F0 code indicates the OFF key is shorted. Determine if problem is with Key Panel or Control by disconnecting the ribbon cable and measuring flat cable pins 2U3 and 5-14. Should be open. Should be 100–150 ohms while pressing OFF key. (For membrane models only.) Perform glass touch board key panel test, making sure to test EVERY pin combination for possible shorts. If there are no shorts, the problem is probably with the control. (For glass touch models only.) I would have listed the part numbers but could not without the complete model number. Read More...
