Benny April 04, 2023 for Model Number RGB745EEH5BB I just replaced my burned out oven igniter yet the new one will not glow. I only get 115 VAC from the connecting wires when igniter is not connected. Is this a board failure or a safety valve failure? The Broil function still works though. Could the safety valve fail just for the oven?
1 Answer Benny, if there is 115VAC when testing from the voltage wire to ground, the voltage would need to be tested from wire to wire with the meter. If voltage does not show up, the failure would be in the valve control assembly WB19K10051. Read More...
Robert January 18, 2022 for Model Number JGBP33CEH5CC The range burners work ok, neither the oven or the broiler will light. The display panel and clock seem to function but no Broiler or Oven ignition. There is no clicking sound of any sort when I try either the oven or broiler.
1 Answer Robert, with access to the back of the range, the bake ignitor would need to be tested for 120VAC from wire to wire, then from wire to ground during a bake cycle. If there is not 120VAC at any time, the range would need to be turned off and the power cord unplugged so that the oven sensor WB21X5301 can be tested for 1100 Ohms of resistance at room temperature. If the sensor checks good, the oven control WB27K10355 would be the cause of failure. However, if there was 120VAC going to the ignitor when testing from wire to wire, the ignitor WB2X9154 has failed. If there was only 120VAC when testing from wire to ground, the safety valve WB19K10051 has failed. The same testing procedure can be done for the broil ignitor during a broil cycle for verification purposes. Read More...
Scott November 01, 2020 for Model Number RGB745WEH3WW Hotpoint stove no longer came to temperature; replaced temp probe, no improvement; replaced ECB and overlay, still not working correctly. Preheat setting to 350 results in 250 temperature reading by over thermometer. What is the next attempted fix or test? Thank you, Scott
1 Answer Scott, I think you have a weak bake igniter, replace the oven igniter with part number WB13K21 Read More...
David October 23, 2019 for Model Number JGBP33SEM3SS gas stove. Oven (bake) won't come on. I replaced the igniter still not working. any thoughts?
1 Answer David, if the igniter is not coming on and glowing, make sure it is getting 120 volts from the main control board. If you are not getting 120 volts, the board is defective and would need to be replaced. Part number for the board is WB27K10355. If there is proper voltage and the igniter does not come on, replace the igniter, the part number is WB13K21 Read More...

Rick February 28, 2019 for Model Number JRP1400P 18G My oven is shutting off during cooking and other operations
2 Answers Rick, check your wiring connections at the terminal block on the oven, make sure there are no loose connections, you could be loosing power when the oven heats up. Other than that, you would be looking at replacing a control board. Read More...
Diane September 18, 2018 for Model Number JGB500SEP1SS Hi, my oven when set to preheat sometimes shuts over during process. Same when preheated, the oven will shut off periodically & control panel flashes. would this be the board & if so which pn# would it be? Thank-you
1 Answer Diane, You will want to check the wiring between the terminal block and the control board to make sure that there is no damaged wiring. If this checks ok then this would most likely be a faulty control board which is part number WB27K10355. Read More...

Mack September 25, 2016 for Model Number JGBP34BEL4BB On a couple of occasions, the control panel loses power and goes black. After unplugging the unit, then plugging it back into the same electrical outlet, the control board powers up and all functions on the range work. The problem began in July and happened again about two months later. How can I check to see if the control board is faulty or if there is something else wrong?
1 Answer Mack, The most likely cause for this issue will be the control board. The part number for the control board is WB27K10355. The only thing that you can really test is to see if the control board is getting power when it shuts off. If it is then the control board is faulty. Read More...
