  • Regulates oven temperature using the sensor feedback and cycles heating elements via internal relays
  • Powers and manages the clock, timer, and digital display
  • Common symptoms include no heat, won't start, erratic temperatures, blank/garbled display, beeping, or control-related error codes
What's included

For Ge Oven Control Board (Erc3b) (Part Number: OEM9617766)

Angelo, You will want to check the keypad to make sure that it is working for the oven light. You can do a continuity test on the keypad from pins 9 to 13 on the keypad ribbon. When you push the oven light button there should be continuity. If there is not then the keypad is faulty. If there is then the control board is faulty.

Oven seems dead - even the light remains off when the door is opened. It's all electric, by the way. Front panel is dead; no effect when any button is pushed; not even a beep. I'm getting 240 volts when I test the red and black wires at the control box. Ordered replacement part WB27T10411 (aka ERC3B). It arrived the other day. It's an exact match, and prior to disconnecting the original unit, I photographed it to makes sure I would replace the wires correctly. The new Oven Control unit seem to be Dead On Arrival. I have tested continuity on the control panel, each individual wire, the thermal switches... the oven door switch. Unless there's a circuit breaker hidden in the unit (and not documented in the schematic), I'm at a loss to explain why my oven isn't working at this point. Mike
