This genuine replacement part is an oven control board. The oven control board is the main circuit board that controls the ovens' essential functions. If the oven isn't heating properly, not turning on, or showing an error code on the digital display, it might be time to replace the control board. Replacing a control board may seem like a difficult task, but it is a relatively simple process. Start by unplugging the range. After that, move the appliance away from the wall to gain access to the back. Remove the upper back panel, and locate the control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires using a phone camera. Then detach the wire harness from the old control board. Remove any individual wires with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Then re-attach the wires to the new control board in the correct terminals. Snap the new control board into place and re-install the upper back panel of the range. This OEM replacement part is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand ovens.

For Ge Oven Control Board (Part Number: OEM9617706)

Wayne L. for Model Number JS900SOK3SS GE Range/Oven

I need HELP ASAP. My renter is getting upset as it is taking awhile to fix the stove. I ordered a oven control from you, installed it today and I am not getting any response from the key pad. The only thing working is the clock light flashing. When I press any of the buttons including the clock nothing happens. Before I changed out the controller the oven buttons would work and the oven would come on for about 30 to 45 minutes and then shut down and F-7 & D-6 would flash. When I installed the new controller the blue ribbion came out without the fastener that is in the controller. Is that the way it is supposted to work? I pluged the ribbion back into the new one but not sure if that caused any problems. Controller part # AP3205899.

Hello Wellander, You can test to see if it is the oven control or the membrane switch. The F7 error code indicates that the start key is shorted. You can test this by measuring the ribbon cable allow up to 1000 ohms when pressing a key. Output keys are: Bake pins 12 and 14 Broil pins 11-14 clean pins 9-14 oven light pins 9-13 Start pins 1-2 number 1 pins 5-7 number 2 pins 4-8 number 3 pins 6-14 number 4 pins 6-13 number 5 pins 7-14 number 6 pins 7-13 number 7 pins 5-11 number 8 pins 8-13 number 9 pins 8-14 number 0 pins 5-6 clear pins 3-4 cook time pins 11-13 timer pins 10-14 delay pins 12-13 clock pins 10-13 When checking the pins you will push the keypad when checking between pins that correspond to the pins. If you get ohm readings on any of the pins that is higher than 1000 ohms you will need a keypad. If they all check ok then you will need oven control.

Hi. You did not say there are any fault codes showing. Inside the oven cavity is a oven sensor part # WB27T10416. Disconnect the connector and ohm it (while twisting) the wires for 1080-1100 ohms. This show a fault code of F-3 when bad. This tells the main board when to turn on and off the control board bake relay. If the relay contacts are stuck shut then it will show described symptoms. Thank You.

Hello Ted, Hold the new touchpad for a few days but you need to order the oven control assembly WB27T10416. If the oven control assembly doesn't set off the fault code, you can send the touchpad back for a refund. If it sets off the fault code again, it will take both the touchpad and the control board to correct the issue. This is why you should hold the touchpad for a while. You have 365 days on the part warranty so there's no rush.

Hello Carol, The F-7 is an indication of a stuck key. This could also be a bad control board. Here's what to do to determine which has failed. Turn off the power to the unit. Remove the control panel and disconnect the ribbon cable that connects the control to the touchpad. Reinstall the panel and wait for 24 hours. If in this time, the beeping starts back up, you need the control board WB27T10416. If the beeping does not start back up, you need to replace the touchpad WB27T11076.

Hi Eric. Marked in colored dots on top of each relay corresponds the color of the wire needed to hook up. The ribbon cable lock on the board needs to be locked in squarely after inserting the ribbon cable. The black wire is the power (L-1) that jumps from one relay feed post to the other. Clock control part # WB27T10416. Thank You.
