Dan October 16, 2020 for Model Number NE58F9500SS/AA-0000 The oven ran fine for over a year. After manually wiping down interiors/cleaning it with sponge/baking soda, now get Error code E21. The error is intermittent. I can flip the breaker for a minute and it sometimes solves the problem. Sometimes it doesn't. Manual says E21 error means an open sensor. Samsung's only solution is to send a tech for an expensive service call. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Dan, The oven temperature sensor DG32-00004C will have to be replaced to correct this issue since the fault code E21 indicates an open sensor. Read More...
John December 02, 2019 for Model Number NV51K7770SG/AA We have a Samsung flex oven. The upper flex has a problem that it overheats when you put it on say 350, the core gets red hot and keeps on going up in temperature. The down flex does not have this problem and runs fine. What can be the problem? Thanks John
1 Answer John, You will want to test the oven sensor for the resistance of 1090 ohms at room temperature. If the sensor is good then this would be a control board issue. Read More...
Robert November 10, 2019 for Model Number NE58F9500SS/AA-01 My oven continues to heat after reaching the preset temperature. The display shows the temperature increasing until it reaches the preset temperature and beeps when it displays/reaches the preset temp. However the heating element continues to stay red hot and heats until it reaches the shutoff temperature of ~500 degrees. I have tested the thermistor at room temperature and the heating element. Both are reading the correct resistance. Do I need a new control board, my best guess is a faulty relay in the back control panel? Are there other fixes to try first? When I called Samsung all they could offer was to try changing the temperature adjustment setting on the front control panel, this did not work.
1 Answer Robert, This would be a faulty main control board that has a stuck relay. The board will need to be replaced. Read More...
Susan October 29, 2019 for Model Number NE58F9500SS/AA I have had my Samsung Range since 2015, but now the oven is not heating properly. After looking at the questions and answer it seems that I need the Thermistor - Sensor; PT1000. I noticed there were other parts listed that people usually bought together and just wanted to make sure this was the only part I needed to fix the heating issue.
1 Answer Susan, The DG32-00004C / DG32-00004C Thermistor-SENSOR; PT1000, should be sufficient to repair your range. You do want to check the connectors for damage and a good tight fit. Also, check the wires between the sensor and the control/clock, make sure the wires aren't frayed or chafed or "pinched" against the metal frame, oven, etc. Thanks, Read More...
Mick October 18, 2019 for Model Number NE58F9500SS I often find myself needing to replace the thermistor (DG32-0004C) because the oven rapidly overheats and toasts it's contents to a crisp. I replace it and all is good again for about a year, but then the same thing happens again. Interestingly, when I measure the failed thermistor's resistance it actually seems to be just fine (including changing correctly when I heat it with a heat gun). Is it possible circuit board the thermistor plugs into is flakey, or maybe even the connector that the thermistor plugs into? It's currently broken again (4th time) and I'm tempted to get rid of the connectors and solder everything. Do you have any recommendations?
1 Answer Hello Mick, I'm sorry you are having problems. These are manmade components that are exposed to excessive temperatures so they do tend to fail often. You can solder the connections if you want but I would recommend using ceramic wire nuts and refrain from the soldering since this can damage the control board. Read More...
Dan April 29, 2019 for Model Number NE58F9500SS Put the oven into self clean. During self clean, process stopped, door won't open and I have no power to the digital control panel. Burners still work on top, have reset breaker and verified that oven has 240 volt power. What do you think is wrong ? Thank you, Dan
1 Answer Dan, there is a thermal fuse on the back of the oven that will open up on high temperatures. Check to see if there is continuity at the fuse, if it is open, it will shut down the oven. To replace it, you will need part number DE47-20037A Read More...
Jack March 13, 2019 for Model Number NX58K9850SS/AA When the divider is removed the oven temperature is consistent, but when I place the divider in the upper portion gives a false temperature reading, i.e. If it set for 350, my thermometer inside would read 220. Should I replace the sensor and what part is this?
1 Answer Jack, the sensor part number is [DG32-00004C] and it may be what is causing the issue. You can verify if it has the proper resistance at room temperature by comparing the resistance of the upper sensor to the lower sensor as they should read the same. Read More...
Haig November 15, 2018 for Model Number Samsung Range Model FE710DRS/XAC The oven is registering the correct temperature, but is overheating quite often, Do both the oven thermostat sensor and the thermostor sensor have to be replaced? Thanks for your reply.
1 Answer Haig, Both parts wont be needed. The DG32-00004C Thermistor - Oven Temp. Sensor should be sufficient. Just make sure you check for frayed / damaged wires and connections between the sensor and the clock/control. Thanks Read More...
Adam February 03, 2018 for Model Number NE58F9710WS/AA-0000 The oven temperature will not remain the same - if it is set for 350 degrees it will go down to 250 or 275. Not sure what part to order for this problem. Thanks.
1 Answer Adam, You will want to check the temperature sensor in the oven to see if it is good. The resistance should be 1090 ohms of resistance at room temp. Read More...
