Hello Cynthia, Turn off the breaker to the unit and verify no voltage is to the unit. Open the bottom door and remove the screws, (one on each side), that retains the trim that runs up the sides of the unit. Pull out on the bottom of the trim and slide it down to remove them. Now, at the top, under where the trim that you just removed was, remove the two screws. The control panel will now lift straight up and will only be attached by the wiring. I always remove the board from the panel instead of pulling the wires off. This simplifies the re-assembly process since you do not have to pull the wiring diagram and decipher the wiring configuration.

Ray, The WP8300435 Control Panel Assy. w/Membrane Switch, does not include the "motherboard" 8302967. There is no separate display board. If you do need the control board, it is no longer available from the manufacturer and you may need to contact : Corecentric Solutions at 866-737-2244/ or Corecentricsolutions.Com on the internet.

Page, The F2 E1 error code is an indication that the keypad tail is not connected. You will want to check the keypad connector for a firm connection. Press cancel and if the error code returns after 60 seconds then replace the control board. The F5 is an door latch issue. This issue could also be caused by the control board.

Hello Jerry. Yes, it sounds like the control panel WP8300435 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. As for the connector, if the unit is working good, then it may be a testing point or like you said, a feature your model does not have and is not needed. Check and make sure you don't see where it has came off the unit.

Jason, You will want to check or replace the WPW10195934 door latch assembly. The motor, or the door switch has failed, and the "door" display is illuminated. Check the wires as well, the high heat of the clean cycle may have weakened the insulation and wires.
