Cynthia M. March 02, 2014 for Model Number rbd305pdq12 How do you remove the control panel to replace?
1 Answer Hello Cynthia, Turn off the breaker to the unit and verify no voltage is to the unit. Open the bottom door and remove the screws, (one on each side), that retains the trim that runs up the sides of the unit. Pull out on the bottom of the trim and slide it down to remove them. Now, at the top, under where the trim that you just removed was, remove the two screws. The control panel will now lift straight up and will only be attached by the wiring. I always remove the board from the panel instead of pulling the wires off. This simplifies the re-assembly process since you do not have to pull the wiring diagram and decipher the wiring configuration. Read More...
Jerry February 25, 2014 for Model Number Whirlpool oven RBD305 Everything appears to work on the oven, but there is no display. The oven also beeps. After we used the oven, the fan came on and didn't stop until I cut off the circuit breakers. When I put the breaker back on the fan had stopped. The display has started to bubble.
1 Answer Hello Jerry. From what you are describing it sounds like the Electronic control needs to be replaced. We will need your complete model number to be able to provide part information. Read More...
Ray January 24, 2014 for Model Number rbd305pdq12 If purchasing the control panel, it does come with the mother board and display board? The picture does not show or give a decent description of what actually comes with it besides all the exterior parts.
1 Answer Ray, The WP8300435 Control Panel Assy. w/Membrane Switch, does not include the "motherboard" 8302967. There is no separate display board. If you do need the control board, it is no longer available from the manufacturer and you may need to contact : Corecentric Solutions at 866-737-2244/ or Corecentricsolutions.Com on the internet. Page October 26, 2013 for Model Number RBD305PDS14 I am getting a F2E1 error when the oven tries to power up. The oven attempts to start heating and then beeps and F5 stays on screen. I had the main board replaced 6 months ago. Any ideas on what to do?
1 Answer Page, The F2 E1 error code is an indication that the keypad tail is not connected. You will want to check the keypad connector for a firm connection. Press cancel and if the error code returns after 60 seconds then replace the control board. The F5 is an door latch issue. This issue could also be caused by the control board. Read More...
Victor August 20, 2013 for Model Number Whirlpool RBD305PDS15 I recently had a F2E6 error on my unit. I had my timer rebuilt and now my control panel only has a few buttons working. I can select bake, adjust the temp but can not start or cancel the process. Can you please advise what you think the solution could be.
1 Answer Victor, The most likely cause of the unit not working properly would be the control panel assembly with membrane switch WP8300435. Read More...
Jerry July 29, 2013 for Model Number GMC305PDT6 The oven off/cancel button fails to turn the oven off. All keys, when depressed, produce a beep tone, however the off/cancel button does not. Do I need to replace the control panel/membrane? Also, I notice a connector that apparently is not used in my model. It is laying on top of the microwave oven. It is a molex style with two wires, a red and a blue. Is this perhaps an option that I don't have? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jerry. Yes, it sounds like the control panel WP8300435 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. As for the connector, if the unit is working good, then it may be a testing point or like you said, a feature your model does not have and is not needed. Check and make sure you don't see where it has came off the unit. Read More...
Jason July 23, 2013 for Model Number RBD305PDT14 I used the self clean feature but after it self cleaned the door won't open and neither oven will heat. I've turned the power off to reset the unit and when you turn it on now the screen reads "door" and the lights stay on. Will a new door latch resolve this or do I need a board?
1 Answer Jason, You will want to check or replace the WPW10195934 door latch assembly. The motor, or the door switch has failed, and the "door" display is illuminated. Check the wires as well, the high heat of the clean cycle may have weakened the insulation and wires. Read More...

Sam June 16, 2013 for Model Number RBD305PDB14 I used the oven for baking and then started the autoclean on the upper oven. It ran for at least an hour maybe longer. A few hours later I noticed the oven door was still locked and there was nothing in the display it was completely off. Like there was no power. I reset the breaker and nothing happened. I had to manually unlock the oven door and it looks like the cleaning was successful. Ideas?
