Dave Brew January 27, 2018 for Model Number WTW6340WW0 Do you need to grease the bearings prior to putting them in. Your video didn't show that being done. I know the bearings are sealed. Otherwise excellent video. Thanks.
1 Answer No, you don't need to "grease the bearings", they are "sealed" as you know. Some "old timers" will apply a drop or two of high speed turbine oil on the inner and outer race of the bearing, as "break in oil" to help seat the bearing. You do have to use the lubricant supplied and "fill up" the inside of the tub seal assembly as best and full as possible. And make sure the seal area and weep hole of the tub is clean and debris free, before you seat and glue the tub seal in place. . Read More...
Jim January 25, 2018 for Model Number MVWB850YW1 I put in a new bearing and shaft kit on a bravo model mvwb850yw1. Now when it starts to go into a high spin it sends out a ul code and it really doesn't seem out of balance and isn't spinning that fast. Any ideas?
1 Answer Jim, You will check to make sure that the stator and rotor are not damaged. Check the RPS sensor to make sure that it is in place properly. Check to make sure that the hub is not damaged. Also check the wiring of the unit. If this all checks ok then the issue will be the main control board. Read More...
