Thomas January 10, 2020 for Model Number WTW7300XW0 Hi, Your instructions are really good. When I removed the inner tub there is quite a bit of water in the outer tub at the bottom is that normal? The drum that is removed is really dirty on the outside also. The inner tub that was removed has water in the bottom as well but that seems normal I assume?
Brad October 15, 2019 for Model Number WTW8600YW1 If I purchase the whole outer tub assy 10381078, is that a lot easier to install and is it a better idea to purchase that vs the bearing?
1 Answer Hello Brad, This is much easier since you do not have to attempt the removal of the bearings from the plastic tub without breaking it and the bearings and outer tub seal is pre-installed by the manufacturer so the special tool is not needed to install the new ones. Read More...
Brad October 15, 2019 for Model Number Whirlpool WTW8600YW1 I guess I have the same question as other. Does 10435302 bearing kit fit my Whirlpool WTW8600YW1? You list an outer tub assembly. What does the outer tub assy have to do with the bearings and shafts and do I need that 103.... outer tub?
1 Answer Brad, Yes the W10435302 / W10435302 Bearing and Tub Seal Kit, will "fit" your WTW8600YW! Whirlpool Washer. You will want to order the W10447783 / W10447783 Bearing Installation Tool, in order to align and seat the bearings properly in the tub. As long as you use the tool, and follow the instructions and are careful, you won't need the W10381078 / W10381078 Outer Tub Assembly unless you crack or break the tub. The outer tub assembly is produced with the tub bearings pre-set and sealed at the factory and includes the drive shaft. Read More...
Anthony September 27, 2019 for Model Number MVWB755YQ0 I bought the Bearing & shaft Kit for my Maytag washer. It didn't come with the grease. I don't want to return it and wait another week. So I wanted to see if I can buy the grease locally. I need to know what kind of grease it is (Lithium, Silicone) or does it matter as long as it is a type of grease. I have a can of automotive grease but I didn't know if that would harm the rubber top seal of the bearing kit. Thank You
1 Answer Anthony, You could use a silicone grease in place of the grease that would normally come with the kit. Read More...
Brandi H. September 14, 2019 for Model Number Maytag Bravos MCT MVWB750WQ1 My model doesn't have an agitator, it's top loading high efficiency version. Are these parts/solutions going to work for it?

Lee August 12, 2019 Is there a serial number on the bearings used in the Whirlpool cabrio washer model # WTW6400sw3. If there is can i have it to mske sure the part is right.
1 Answer Lee, There is no serial or part number for the individual tub bearings, there never was. Originally, you had to order the outer tub assembly, in order to receive the tub bearings and driveshaft. If you order the W10435302 Bearing and tub seal kit, you will receive the correct parts to repair the washer. You also want to use the W10447783 Installation tool to properly align and seat the tub bearings to the factory specifications and to make the repair easier, proper, and a long-lasting repair. Paul C August 03, 2019 My kit came with a super glue adhesive instead of the plyobond from the video. Is super glue safe to use?
1 Answer Hello Paul, the adhesive supplied by the manufacturer should be compatible for the installation of the seal. Thanks! Read More...
Glen_T July 10, 2019 for Model Number WTW6200VW0 Just installed the bearing/seal/shaft kit, and wanted to thank you for the video - very helpful. Two things: The video seems to imply that you should "flood" the adhesive on the upper edge of the seal after it is installed to seal the outer edge. I noticed that in doing so, some adhesive got over to the seat/shaft joint. Will this cause a problem? It is hard to control the adhesive, and hard to see while applying. I'm hoping it will not cause problems - it seems like the adhesive on the OD is the main seal, and this is just a backup. The adhesive is very sticky and hard to remove, so I'm hoping it won't be a problem. Also, towards the end of the video, it mentions that you should run the "C0" and "manual spin" test. I heard it as "seal" test, not "C0" and for the life of me could not find a "seal" test. Thanks again.
1 Answer Hello Glen, that should not be a problem, the drive shaft is mated to the water seal along its length down in the water seal not necessarily at the top of the water seal. Read More...
