This motor control board is created for use with washing machines. It's located inside the washing machine, where users can change settings and start or stop the appliance. It is tasked with regulating how quickly the washer spins during a cycle. Wear and tear or damage can cause the motor control board to malfunction. This may make it impossible for the washer to agitate or spin. If this happens, a replacement will need to be made.To replace this part, start by unplugging the appliance. Once the area is safe, the bottom front panel should be removed. This will provide access to the original motor control board. Pull on the motor control board until the wires can be reached. The position of these components should be noted before taking out the part. Replace with a new motor control board and replace the wires. This motor control board is designed to fit washing machines made by Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, and KitchenAid. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It's sold as a single part.

Bryan for Model Number GHW9150PW0

I recently got the F/11 code on my wash I went on line and bought a ccu unit for it. Hooked it up and when I plugged it back in the time kept cycling. I I held in two button I the cancel and the water button I got it to reset and start the cycle over again. But ever time it got to the point where the drum should spin the F/11 Code came up. Now I'm assuming on a large scale that it may also be my mcu unit because the door will lock fine and unlock too. Recently though the below started to leak and I was going to order a new one but then this happend and before I put another 300 dollars into this machine I need to know could it just be the mcu unit went bad and need replaced?

John, the F 06 error code, indicates an issue in the motor control circuit, most likely a MCU issue " F06 - The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door will be unlocked after three minutes. - Unplug washer or disconnect power. Check wire harness connections between the drive motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU). Plug in washer or reconnect power. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor. Check the drive motor for powered rotations." Also, start the washer empty and without any load on hot wash warm rinse setting, then check for sudsing after a few minutes of operation. If all's OK, start at the MCU, it's the more likely issue. Good Luck and Thanks

Hi Bob. The F-2 indicates a long drain Issue. Remove the power. Remove the lower panel. Get a bucket and a shop vac. and remove the filter cap. You wont be surprised of the amount of debris that can wipe out the pump. There will be a lot of water. Get a dozen towels. Reach into the impeller and see if it spins loosely on the pump shaft. If so or if the pump will not turn on, it needs replaced. Pump part # 280187. Thank You.

Rriedel, What is the issue ? What diagnostic codes are displayed or logged in the memory ? Based on your post, it seems like you have a motor run issue ? Have you checked the wiring harness and connectors between the MCU and the CCU. Here are a couple of checks to make at the CCU: Conn. MS2 pin 1 and pin 2 should have 120 VAC, out to the MCU once the door locks. Conn. MI3 pin 1 to pin 3 should have 5 VDC across the two wires coming back from the MCU. At the MCU, check for 115 to 125 ohms resistance across pin 4 and 5 coming back from the motor. No 120 VAC out, bad CCU or wiring at door switch, No VDC, bad harness or MCU. No resistance, bad tach circuit/motor. Good Luck and Thanks

Hello Brian. If the unit is giving an F11 and the MCU is new, check and make sure the wiring harness and connectors are good on the unit. If so, you will need to replace the CCU WPW10137702. The F11 code is for loss of communication between the CCU and the MCU. Hope this helps.
