  • Visual damage (burn spots/breaks) or an open reading on a continuity test indicate replacement
  • Similar symptoms can also result from a faulty surface switch or wiring—diagnose before replacing
What's included: 1 surface heating element Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker and allow the cooktop to cool completely
  • Lift/remove the glass top per your service manual to access the element
  • Note wire positions and bracket orientation; move wires one at a time to matching terminals
  • Support the glass and avoid stressing the element; test operation before final reassembly

Greg, Your Jenn Air cooking product is a "series 17" model(first two numbers of the serial number) You would order parts using the number closest to the "series" number without going over the number. You may want to recheck and make sure you ordered and have the correct parts. WPW10185286/WPW10185286 Infinite Switch, and W10823724/WP74011986 Element Dual. These are the right front "custom" burner and control for the model and serial number you supplied. Both parts are in stock and available at this time. Thanks
