1 Answer Hello William, To remove the dispenser cover, grasp the bottom edge of the dispenser cover and pull sharply down and toward you with your knee against the door so it cannot move. This should snap it off. When it snaps off, it will sound like plastic breaking, but this is because it has to snap on tight so it doesn't fall off from normal usage. John April 18, 2012 for Model Number ed25dqxbn00 I ordered the chute door(2180353) and its different from the one thats on the unit. The one on the unit has a electronic ribbon attached to the chute door and the replacement doesnt have the ribbon and its made a little shorter on the sides. I called and the sales lady said this was the replacement for the old one. If so,what do I do with the ribbon.
