Mitch January 09, 2021 for Model Number KitchenAid dishwasher terrible door hinge squeak. Door hinge cable broke. Replaced with new cable and pulley, part #8194001. Noise is loud. Tried to lubricate nylon cable. Did not help. Tried to make my own cable with nylon coated wire and clamps a little longer than the original to relieve some of the tension. Still loud. Could a misaligned door hinge be the culprit or perhaps the spring? What else can I try?
