Woody, First, check and make sure the water fill hoses and fill valve debris screens are cleaned or replaced. and theres plenty of water to the washer. The "spray rinse" in all cycles are 15 seconds long, and the "deep rinse" cycle is three (3) minutes long, once the tub has reached the water level selected. Also, before you replace the timer, Star and allow the washer to run a complete regular wash cycle, on a small water level setting, from start to finish. If the spray rinses don't occurr, then replace the timer WP22001026.

Hello Steve, You need to refer to the serial number on your unit to determine which valve you will need. The first two digits of the model number serves as the series number. If it begins with 19 or lower, you will need to order part number WP22001274. If the serial number begins with 20 or higher, you will need to order part number WP22002360.

Hello F.alem. You will need to check and see if the drain pump is clogged on the unit. If not, check and make sure the pump belt 12112425 is not broken. If the belt is good, and the pump is not clogged, and the unit spins, but does not drain, you will need to replace the pump WP6-2022030.

Raz, I wouldn't expect both fill valve solenoids to fail at the same time. If you're sure youre water supply is proper at the wall, you may want to start by checking or replacing the water level switch and air dome hose 12002304 22001616 . If it's just the hot or cold water that doesn't activate and fill, then consider the fill valve WP22002360 Good Luck and Thanks

Odie, according to your model/serial number you will use part number WP22001274 for the inlet valve. You will need to remove the screws that secure the control panel to the top of the washer and unplug the wire connector. Release the clips holding the top of the cabinet using a flat head screw drive. You will then tilt the cabinet towards you, slide it foward, and remove it from the washer. Remove the water inlet hoses, note the hoses to make sure you install them correctly back onto the appliance. Remove the two wire connectors from the valve, also note the hot/cold connectors to make sure they are installed properly back. Remove the mounting screw and slide the valve out of the back panel. Using pliers remove the clamp on the hose and reinstall the valve in reverse order. Hope this helps you, thanks!

Hello Graham, yes you are correct. The best way to test for a defective water valve is to turn it on, allow water to flow in and disconnect it from the power source. If water doesn't stop flowing in, you definitely have a defective water valve WP22001274. Thanks!
