Dishwasher Cold Pump Hose Parts

I suspected the 'circulation pump' to be the culprit. I could not find a 'circulation pump' so I deduced via the picture schematics it must be the 'casing assembly, pump' I found on the website. I have heard there have been issues with the 'drain pump' so I also ordered the 'case assembly' on this site which is an odd name for the drain pump. 1st we took the inside washer arms out and made sure they were clean and not blocked by something . When That failed, I called a local appliance repairman . After 2 messsges and absolutely no return call, I went on line and googled what could cause the problem. It recommended replacing the pump motor assembly . So we decided to try it. Ordered part. Part was updated from original equipment (3 pieces) to a one piece tube. Snip the top of hanger loop then install. Just a couple minute job. Updated tube is much better than the original design. Read more

After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. So we ran a cycle of vinegar and sprayed the filters and arms with lime-off-sprayed them out with a air hose "completely". Many of the small pieces of lime will clog the holes in the spray arms. Installed a new hose and coupler and now it works perfect again. Had to take the top off of the dishwasher, which was just a few screws and take the old hose out, install the new one and within an hour, my dishwasher was running again. Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter.
