Dryer not heating Ray M. • Marissa , IL • October 03, 2014
I removed the kick panel/door and confirmed there was no flame. Inspection with a flashlight revealed the igniter was damage - partly broken away. Using a 1/4" socket set I removed the burner assembly. Inspection showed the burner was rusted and the flame deflector had fallen off. I ordered both the "Dryer Igniter and Bracket" and a burner. They arrived in about three days. I had to attach the igniter to the bracket (one screw) and then the bracket to the burner (one screw). The only...

The gas Dryer would not dry clothes because the pilot would ignite but the gas would turn on for a moment then turn off. Eventually the gas would not come on at all. Kenneth S. • Columbus , MI • March 24, 2014
I decided the problem was with the gas valve and I found the part on your web site. I ordered it and received the part in 3 days. I replaced the valve and the dryer works like new! This also gave me an opportunity to vacuum out the dust/lint that collects in and around the dryer.

Gas valve on gas dryer leaking Thomas R. • Stillwater , MN • January 10, 2017
Replaced valve had some trouble removing the fitting from the valve as the new fitting was slightly too large and had to be replaced with the fitting from the old valve. Used a large crescent wrench to grip the valve at the base and I was able to apply enough force to remove both fittings transferring old fitting to new valve. The instructions were detailed and excellent. The dryer is up and running fine.

First look 2nd look 3rd look success!!!!! Kirk P. • Des Moines , IA • October 10, 2014
When I first looked at my dryer I thought it was my ignitor, on a closer look I found that about an inch of my burner assembly arm was laying in a corroded mess on the bottom pan of my dryer. I came online and found your website. After reviewing your parts I thought well I can probably get those local and with competive pricing. Wrong!! There are 3 appliance parts stores withing about 3 miles and I checked them all. Higher prices by 25-35% and longer wait times than your advertised...

I ordered the natural gas conversion orifice with 2 day shipping, I also ordered for only maintenance reasons a new ignitor, as they are very common wear and tear item (like a spark plug on a gas engine or a glow plug on a diesel engine ). Both items came promptly and well protected . Easy install, only needed a Phillips screwdriver for entire repair. R&R top first, r&r front display panel,r&r door,r&r front panel,r&r drum (very easy), replaced ignitor and orifice. Total job took 30 min. I...

Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WE03X23918
This valve and pipe assembly regulates and routes fuel through the dryer's system so the burner can ignite and maintain heat. Replacing a failing assembly restores reliable heating performance and consistent drying results. What it does
- Opens and closes to control fuel flow to the burner when heat is called for
- Directs fuel from the inlet to the burner orifice through a rigid manifold/pipe
- Helps maintain safe shutoff when the dryer is idle
- Common symptoms of a failing assembly: no heat, intermittent heat, or burner failing to ignite
What's included
- One valve-and-pipe assembly
Install notes
- Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before servicing
- Use only gas-rated fittings/sealant as specified by the manufacturer; do not overtighten connections
- After installation, check all joints for leaks with a soap-and-water solution
- Restore power and gas, then verify proper burner ignition and stable heating

Frigidaire dryer feq332es0 stopped heating Matthew G. • Palmyra , NY • February 21, 2015
First, let me tell you that this is the fifth appliance I've fixed with parts and help from AppliancePartsPros.com -- At this rate I'll never get to upgrade to nice new appliances. :-(
When my wife said the dryer wasn't heating up, I looked online for common causes before I even headed to the basement. A lot of people talk about the fuses going bad, so I figured that's what it was. Next, I watched the videos on how to get to the internals of the dryer. (I hate it when I try to figure it out...
